Hey there, awesome videos. I just moved to town from the PNW and would love to get into some surf fishing for black tip but have no idea where to start learning about gear and tactics. Could you recommend where a new guy could go to learn the basics?

There's a lot of videos on utube about shark fishing from the beach. First thing you'll need to decide, spinning tackle/casting or open face equipment. Next thing a permit is required to shore fish for sharks. It's a 4 section tutorial with reviews, and at the end, there's a test 100% score required to get the permit on your fishing license. It takes a minute to legally fish for sharks in Florida.

Omg I can't believe the amount of sharks! I swim there all the time. Now I'm afraid. Although I hear sharks usually show up around dawn and dusk

I've caught 9 sharks in 4 hours during the shark migration. I'm in the water with them all the time, but I've never been bitten!
