Your suspension is likely affecting the bump steer of the truck. I was suspicious of how high your truck was sitting with a leveling kit. Went back and watched the video where you installed it and sure enough you basically have 2 leveling kits stacked on the truck. If you look under your coil spring there’s an aluminum block under the spring seat. That itself is a leveling kit. Putting another leveling kit above the spring is going to change the whole geometry. You’re likely lacking on caster and you’re stressing the rest of the suspension components because they’re not designed to be used with that high of a lift without more compensation.

Needs a trac bar relocation bracket and radius arm drop down bracket to put all of that geometry back in alignment spec

I am just getting my feet wet with the Power Strokes, I have a low all-stock milage 6.0, I don't want to mod it up too much, just a exhaust and blue spring for now, but in time and as its required I will jump into it, lovin the content, good to see the channel get down and serious with the Power Strokes!

I came from a duramax over to 6.7, and you are not kidding about the steering. The steering wheel in my duramax was SO much stiffer than the steering in my 6.7, the smallest bump moves my steering wheel and i move in my lane. That's even with dual stabilizers in the front. Its just something I've learned that i need to get used to

I’ll stick with my old ‘99 7.3L F-350. Yeah it doesn’t have as much power nor do i want to hop it up. But it’s reliable and doesn’t gripe anytime i need it to work.

That’s a great looking truck, but I’m good with my 7.3 with over 600,000 miles shooting for 1000,000. I run every 65mph. Yes that would be getting ran over on the Austin Tx bypass (85mph) FYI you may not want to tell everyone your truck is deleted

You need a drop bracket for the sway bar when lifting the front the Axle tends to shift.

Sway bar or do you mean "Track Bar" ?

Your channel is called Powerstroke Central and apparently you've driven all the power strokes there are and you're an "expert", I say this sarcastically because I don't even think you claimed to be an expert or will ever, but... you knew this was coming, I have to disagree on a couple of things. I'll admit that I haven't watched the video fully before making this comment but as soon as I heard talk of fuel mileage and power that was enough for me.... I simply want to say that a 7.3 powerstroke can get 20 plus miles to the gallon for sure and can make as much power or more power than a stock 6.7 or even one that is slightly tuned for less than it cost to buy one. You are probably going to call me a liar or not believe me but that's just the way it is. I have a back in my day kind of vibe tale to tell which it actually didn't happen all that long ago anyways, I was on the expressway and I didn't video any of this but I was on the expressway and I noticed a 6.7 driving past me probably going 80 90 mph so I decided to get up behind him and this thing was deleted and tuned blowing black smoke, tailgating him which provoked him to speed up and I sped up as well like an unofficial race if you will and I wasn't able to pass him or go faster than him but I definitely kept up with in a 7.3... pretty much stock that makes a lot of boost. Just my two cents take it or leave it I guess it doesn't really matter in the long run anyways.... Ray

@@powerstrokecentral ah ok sounds about right, well that's actually impressive, I've heard many cases the rack and pinions going bad at 70k and redhead needed, and I agree dual stabilizers is needed especially with that extra weight from that bull bar it'll cause those parts to wear out premature
@JLCmike4014 Жыл бұрын
@@livelong6685, these ford trucks don’t have rack and pinion steering setups. It’s old school gearbox. The tie rods, pitman arms, suspension balljoints, and track bar balljoint is what like to wear out on these trucks.
