I wonder if I can take even one decent picture after watching every single of your guides. Professionals really make everything look so easy and automatic and I go out with my expensive camera and take photos that look like I dropped my phone by accident and it took a few pictures when it hit the ground.

Man, I watched dozen of your videos and you're a genius! Thanks for sharing your experience with us, amateurs. 👍🏻

Having heard a lot about which lenses do which, your videos taught me that skills are much more important. You never mention which lenses you are using because skills make the photos better, not the lens. Thank you so much!
@thegrayyernaut4 жыл бұрын
@Hamah 75 Yes, but he did make a video about shooting with a Canon 18-55 Kit lens, showing how we can take good photos even with kit lenses. Without the skills and knowledge needed, we won't be able to utilize those lenses we invested in. That was what I was trying to get at.

Absolutely brilliant!; you are the simply the best !! with not only how you explain the various options for shooting; you keep everything "simple" for all of us who are on a learning curve; Thank You

Once again, great and very informative video. Like your style of explaining these things in a clean and simple way instead of rapidly going through as many features as just possible in as less time as possible. It makes this learning process for photography beginners like me much easier. Thank you and keep up the great work.

I am taking a lot of time getting acquainted with the 2 cameras that I have canon 5d Mark Ii and Fujifilm x3e so still the technical stuff is still weighting me down. Just to navigate through a digital takes time so I can’t wait to shoot some good pictures with the rules I have learn. Your videos are great. Thanks

I started watching your videos. Learning a lot. Will be enrolling in your course to get the full level of knowledge that you offer. I am using a Nikon 5600. Question. How to I get to rapid fire or continuous shotting mode,
@PhotographyPro2 ай бұрын
I'm so glad you're finding the videos helpful! To enable rapid fire or continuous shooting mode on your Nikon D5600, switch your camera to the "CH" (Continuous High) or "CL" (Continuous Low) mode using the dial or menu. if you need further assistance, feel free to ask! :)

Hi and thanks. in 7:48 the picture was taken with ISO 2500 and -0.3 exposure. Why did you put ISO high and instead kept exposure minus?
@philipbritten44205 жыл бұрын
My guess would be because it was shot in aperture priority so the camera set the ISO for him and he may have left the exposure set down by default. That's what I do because in my experience cameras tend to expose slightly brighter than looks best.

Thanks for the suggestions! FYI: I'm an old-school Chicago urban photographer, and have done well with my classic Nikon D750 with a 24-70mm zoom... I was first considering moving up to the D780 and the more expensive D850, if I don't go mirrorless. Do you recommend either of these two cameras ? 🙂
@PhotographyPro Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Those are classic cameras that produce great images. We definitely recommend them. The Z9 and Z6 II have also great specs if you plan to switch to mirrorless.

GREAT INFO! I'm a Nikon guy about to upgrade from my DSLR to mirrorless cameras....any suggestions?

Suggesting a camera is not so easy as it depends on your personal preferences. We recommend checking the Nikon Z9 and Z6II models. Those may be great options for you :)
@johnmichaeltan16564 жыл бұрын
i find your videos very educational and helpful, thank you very much. i also shoot in AP in canon camera, portraits, street and long exposure. i have a question on the archway shot, on the exif it's mentioned that the ISO was 2500 and there was -.3 on the exposure compensation. would it (exposure compensation) really matter if it was not used and ISO was a bit less since the image will still be post processed? please don't get me wrong on this question of mine since I hardly use exposure compensation, thanks in advance for the answer / reply. Happy clicking.

Never be afraid to use wide /ultra-wide lenses for close-up pictures , which might even include photographing flora ( sometimes you can use distortion to " produce " wacky images to compliment the " regular" images in your portfolio )
