Seola is more rough but she's definitely the protector while Sua is the caretaker. This family as stole my heart! It's just scary because they're so use to strangers saying HI or being nice to them in passing all the time so they don't know how to be nervous or scared around strangers.

That is seriously the best description of Seola and Sua I've ever seen. A lot of people tend to describe them in a way that can make the other not seem as good (i.e., someone will only praise Seola for protecting Daebak, or will talk about how much more well-behaved Sua is than Seola). You're totally right - Seola is more outgoing and wild but she's more tough and therefore great at being the protector. Sua on the other hand is more soft-hearted and timid, but her calm and thoughtful ways make her a great caretaker. tl;dr - your explanation for the twins is my favorite thing. :)

What I noticed was that when the man offered to take Asian to go get candy even though Sua is more timid see called for Seola when she noticed what was happening and that’s when Seola yelled at the man

the most precious moment is when Daebak wanted to go with the stranger because he wanted candy, Seola stuck the candy into Daebak's mouth even though she seldom shares food with others because of how much she loves food

Waa Idk why but I feel like crying when Seola protects Daebak. I'm touched. Even though she sometimes bullies Daebak, but when it comes to danger, she still protects her siblings. Good job, Seola. I can totally understand what you're saying and I think it really just depends on a cultural context. In my case, "bully" can be used in both a very strong way (like talking about school bullying) but also in a far more lighthearted way (my siblings and I tease each other all the time and I'll often say "--- is bullying me!"). Out of curiosity, what is your language? I find it really interesting to learn these kind of language/cultural differences.

I've watched this scene so many times because i love it so much! As an older sister of two (and younger sister of three) I totally understand Seola's position and protective nature, when you feel like someone might do them harm, all the fears you may have had disappear and the only thing that matters is protecting your siblings with everything you've got. So proud of Seola! The three of them are going to be super close, and be the coolest kids as they grow older! Jaesi and Jaeah also

Sua is not as confident as Seola and its proven because when they went to get analysed by a doctor, they found that Sua follows in Seola’s steps, and that she loses confidence when Seola isn’t there to take charge, which is why she didn’t interfere, its not in her nature, shes more quiet compared to Seola. Which is why you cant compare them.. you cant compare people at all actually, they are all different and have different mannerisms and personalities, these twins are prime examples of how different people are.

People giving Sua flack for not doing enough, lol Seola is the oldest and is given the leadership role when they are left alone. Sua isn't a confident child and according to he child psychologist she's nervous and used to letting Seola take the lead. Sua cares for Sian in a different way so don't hold things like this against her

i agree but i don't agree with the whole "seola is the oldest so she is in charge" thing. They're twins first of all, being born 5 minutes earliest doesn't make a difference, so thats no excuse to make seola handle all the leadership when both twins are the same age. mindsets like these unintentionally forces seola to constantly think that she has to be the leader just because her sister isn't that confident. I don't think sua has to be outgoing or change who she is, i'm personally the same type of person that sua is too. But she does need to learn to stand up for herself and her family sometimes. She should be confident enough to that extent.

it was hard to notice but as soon as the second stranger approached sian, sua called for seola to stop playing and to pay attention to sian. although she wasn’t directly protecting sian like seola, she still protected him as well

Sua is just very timid compared to seola, after 2 years worth of TROS episodes, I've realised sua only gets braver when it's for something she's familiar with or loves- sweets of course plus seola took the lead as always and took it 😂 anyway their development has really been great, saw an episode where sua overcame her fears because donggook provoked her about sian 😂😂

I'm really glad he is teaching them this now that they're at an age where they can understand. It's something all kids should learn, really, but especially in the case of kids who are as famous as them. It's a sad reality that there will always be a possibility (however slim) that someone might want to take them away, especially if they're an obsessive fan. We've seen how many people totally love the kids and there's always part of me that worries someone might go too far. As a side note, as an older sister myself, I really admire the way Seola protected Daebak despite not being much older or bigger than him. I have the same instinct to protect my younger siblings, but they're 4 and 9 years younger than me so I'm definitely older and bigger. Seola and Sua are still toddlers themselves, yet are still always taking care of and looking out for their little brother. With 4 protective big sisters, no one will ever be able to mess with Daebak. ;)

Dongkooks tone when teaching his children the right way to deal with strangers is something many parents should look up to. He truly raised his kids well, even though they ‘failed’ the test, they’re still very young children. Seola was looking around for her dad the first time and realized it would be ok if they didn’t go too far. The second time they still accepted the candy but learned not to go with the stranger. And Seola protecting Bakkie- in either situations, if the men tried to only take Daebak I’m sure the twins wouldn’t have allowed it. SEOSUDAE HWAITING

I see some comments about Sua not protecting Daebak, and not being a good older sister. First of all, she’s a toddler. I know older kids who could care less about their siblings, and Sua is obviously NOT one of them. We have seen how she cares for Daebak. Second of all, wanting to protect somebody, be it family or friend, is a learned trait. Just as these kids are learning to be cautious of strangers, they need to learn to protect and care for their loved ones, which is something these Donggook has been teaching, and Seola did a damn good job. Once Sua gets older and more experienced, I have no doubts that she will also do so.

I came to watch this episode after watching Ha Oh's episode "stranger test" (to see if they would follow a stranger) because people were saying that the only kids that didn't fail this test was Sua, Seola and Daebak. But like, they technically did tho? They followed the 1st stranger. They didnt follow the 2nd stranger because it literally just happened earlier in the day, and the dad told them not to do that anymore so obviously they learned it better. PLUS the fact that the 2nd stranger literally said he wanted to take Daebak away so obviously they would immediately get on defensive mode. I understand that you might have favorites on this show and etc, but to go as far as to discredit the other babies when they only got tested once? Thats not fair. I believe all these kids are smart and lovable in their own ways.
