I feel I need to completely let go so I'm staying in bed today and not eating. As for my son who's 21 on the 18th ,I gave him £300 yesterday and told him I won't be available to him for a few weeks . I dumped 1 person in September. Next was 2 more. 2 more after that, cheated me out of a job I did for them. This week, 1 more. 6 toxic people I no longer have to deal with. I prayed on each of them to leave me out of their lives. God saw me miserable after I spoke to any of these people. I asked for peace and I received it. Thank you God for everything. I know exactly what it means to have a person who not only tried to stop me from my spiritual path, but used any method, mental aggression, arrogance, humiliation in public and in private, just to pull me down, to even see the divine light disappearing from my eyes. Years ago I had the opportunity to leave him, but fear, insecurity, not feeling strong enough stopped me. Instead, I began to fight for my beliefs, silently and keeping a safe emotional distance. Dear Father in Heaven, ABBA Yahweh, Adonay Yeshua, Ruach haQodesh, all powerful, all-seeing, ever existing unique Creator God of the Universe. I had to cut the bond with a female friend some time ago. We had known each other since 1994, but she did not like the fact that I had become so serious in my walk with you and I had to distance myself. Now there is another friend who’s always complaining and pointing her fingers on others, even though she is praying fervently for others. But she is an open wound of sorrow etc, and even if I am greatful for her prayers, I sense that her difficulty to forgive others or be glad when prayer answers come and always compare herself to others, I pray Lord that you remove her from my life in such a way that it becomes least hurtful for us both. She too has been a friend for over ten years, but all the negativity. envy of others, all the comparisons are blocking my growth. I pray for both these women, Anna and Helena, I pray that you will heal them, bless them and forgive them. Forgive me too, Lord for my sins. Hi Anna, I was attracted to your question because we have opposite but a similar problem. I am the mother trying to understand my daughter. So maybe we can help each other. First, I know that when contention or anger takes over the conversation that we immediately lose the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that contention is not of Him but of the devil. So we must talk with real intent to stay calm, listen to each other and try to understand without thinking that just because we disagree that the other person is attacking us. For example, I disagreed with a decision my daughter was making and although I understand why she wants to do it that way and she has good intentions, I don’t feel that financially she can afford to keep doing so. ( I have also been trying to help her financially as much as I can, but can not continue to do so without her making some adjustments.) she immediately started yelling and attacking me. I tried to get her to stay calm and told her I love her. Anyway she really didn’t “ hear” what I was saying. Later on in the conversation it was evident that she heard something different. Cause she repeated something back that I didn’t say and I said that I didn’t say that. She now is not talking to me. I have two sons also and at times I offer my opinion but we handle it quite differently. We can offer an opinion then expect each other to think about it then decide if we agree with some or all of it. With my daughter she takes a difference of opinion as a personal attack. We are both adults. It is sad because I love her very much. She has several difficult things happening in her life right now. So, I would say make sure you and mom are not contentious. If you are an adult listen to what mom is saying. Does it make sense. Most moms really love their daughters and want to help. But if you are an adult on your own you have the right to decide. Just know that sometimes we all have to make changes and people don’t want to do that. We want to stay in our comfort zone. But, sometimes changes are necessary to grow. I am not saying your mom is right. We as mothers make mistakes too. Pray about it,too. And ask God what you should do. Make your decision with love in your heart, not contention or resentment.
