Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value.

Scarcity mindset is not being "afraid" of taking risks... it is when you see a tableset on the curb and go "I don't need it right now, but it won't be there tomorrow, so I'm going to take it home and store it for 18 years before I die and then my kids get to clean the garage out and continue the legacy of storing stuff I never used because they won't want to let go of all these things that were important to me." When you are hoarding everything and wasting your time and money on things that are not that important because our society is for the large part disposable.
