Sprout is my favourite internet Cairn. We now have our very own Cairn pup (Fergus) and he looks almost identical to sprout. 🥰 I love how they bury their favourite snacks for later with invisible dirt. Such a cairn thing! 🐾🐾

Sprout is growing nicely! Be careful though with him running on laminate flooring as it can cause problems from the age of 3-5 years with their hips if they don’t have sufficient traction on the surfaces they are running on. This is a common problem with Cairn Terriers and many (including ours) had to have both hips operated on over the course of 18 months from around the age of 5. Cairns are a most beautiful breed of Dog and you certainly have hit the jackpot with Sprout - I hope you have many years of happiness together!

We put down a nice big fluffy rug on our laminate floor (we only have it in the living room thankfully) and it worked perfectly in the end. She was able to chase herself (and me!) around the table now with ease.

What kind of brindle color is your dog? Cream? Red? Darker red?
