Finally, after over three years, another good funny episode featuring new dirty tricks! Axes and Aerobics, I love it. Well done! I had almost given up hope. PS: I miss Tim's incredible public safety announcements and the merciless craziness from the early episodes. Revive all the great characters you created back then. The Kia-car advert, then, I think it was your first Netflix ad, where Josh wants to drive to the video shop and Ryan steals his car-distributer, Ryan's Hulk Hogan like character and your very first dimension zap clip with Josh, Emily and Tim, Ryans Bat-man, Ryan on a rampage with little Emily instead of writing his scrips and Emily's scary over the top obsession with weapons are all brilliant and unforgettable, … or to use your language: "terrible and beautiful moments of film history" and one can't get better than this in the movies. Even after all those years I am still haunted by those of your videos in my nightmares in a good way. Emily or Stark just staring and saying nothing freaks me out every time. However, It seems you improved your technical skills at the cost of your scriptwriting and storytelling. Trump says: Sad! But I think this Justin has potential once he's found his footing. Let him rage. And remember the advice, my fellow countryman Billy Wilder gave you about the three most important things you need for a good film. PPS: Is Kessler still after you for burning all his money on that fun fair bouncy castles? If so, you deserve it! … but we still want you to somehow escape. ;->

As a professional video editor, reversing a shot, or even flopping it, is a technique I use a lot. These are fantastic tips!
@filmstuff67812 жыл бұрын
1.Making ur room look longer (by moving ur actor to the edge). 2.Faking 180° rule (by not moving the set, lighting and camera, move the actors) 3. Reverse clip in post. (Sometimes its dangerous to hit something which is not safe. Best way to overcome that is to reverse the action in shoot and reverse back it in post) 4. Fake sweat. 5.whip pan (fast movement transition)

The color grading in the VHS bit is incredible, it looks like it was actually shot on 35mm. It'd be awesome to see a video on that
