Next live hangout should definitely be their newer 5 seconds of summer show live at Amsterdam. You just did a reaction to You don’t go to parties from the same show but the full one is a blast. You won’t be disappointed and because you are now ashtons biggest fan you won’t be disappointed. The shows includes some bts stuff which I know you enjoy as well

I really love this 5sos journey you're going on, and I've really enjoy your breakdowns. I'm sure its been suggested, but if you're genuinely interested in their backstory and history, 5sos filmed/recorded a ten episode "podcast" on KZbin, one episode for each year from 2011 to 2021 where they talk about and breakdown their career and lives through each year. They filmed/recorded them chronologically, but released them in reverse, 2021 to 2011(I listen to them chronologically). They're funny and informative. You get to see them casual and just talking about their lives through the years of their career. I think you'd like it, not even necessarily for a reaction.

She Looks So Perfect is groovy, still a banger to this day. Ashton is a very energetic drummer but not over the top, he's a beast! The commercials are hilarious, really shows their sense of humor. The 5Sauce one makes me cry laugh everytime. Lots of inside jokes. 2012 is the year they released their 1st EP as a band. Out of My Limit is on there (mostly written by Calum). Luke probably came up with the solo (he's credited as writer as well) on this guitar so he has to do the solo everytime they play it. Gotta Get Out is another song on that EP. It was written by Calum only when he was 15 which is insane. Both songs have aged pretty well. Amnesia is beautiful and always makes me emotional. The harmonies are perfect. Jet Black Heart is an iconic song. So special to me. "Organized chaos" is a perfect description of this song. The structure of this song is also different from their other songs. When I first saw the Gotta Get Out performance, the transition from 2012 to 2021 made me cry. Youngblood marks the band's return after a hiatus and a change of genre from pop-punk to alt-pop/pop-rock. The bass hits sooo hard live. Everyone is jumping around, it's the best feeling in the world. Absolute banger! The stems are available online if you're interested. Michael has had that Joan Jett guitar for the longest time. It's one of his oldest ones I'm pretty sure. On the same album as Youngblood is Ghost Of You. It pulls on your heartstrings for sure, so beautiful and emotional. I did cry to it before. I was going to give you some information on both songs but I won't as you're gonna watch the Cocktail Chats where they talk about the album, the inspiration and the writing process. And yes, 5SOS are not hiding the fact that they are using a backing track. Most times it's reverb or additional sound instruments/harmonies. The Summer Brothers are amazing. Calum and Michael could totally sing country music. You have to watch "5SOS do She Looks So Perfect as a fake country band" it's so funny. "Pop-Punk will never die" No 2011, that sucks, I love it! This was so much fun!

I can’t believe I came across The so late! Sorry. I so love a deep dive of 5SOS. Seeing them in concert was so impressive that it just blew my mind and had me in tears half the show. Last time in the show in Atlanta we did get them to play pizza 🍕!!!!! I remember watching this live on the day, tearing up to ghost of you and the video of them singing on the couch in their first year and then morphing into their grown-up selves, singing the same song. Long time fan. After their first year start and Australia, I believe it was Michael that had contact from Louis Tomlinson and they were asked to be the opening act for 1D!!! Hugh lift off for 5 SOS. There’s a great video of young 5 SOS joining them on stage for a crazy version of teenage dirtbag! Crazy fun! ✌️🍕

Idk who said it but note for the chat, amnesia wasn’t co-written, good charlotte wrote it years before they met 5SOS always kept it because they loved it but never released it because they felt it didn’t suit their sound, they met 5SOS when john Feldman was producing and writing with them, and they gifted the song to 5SOS because they thought it would be a great introduction, and that 5SOS could do it justice Not co-written, but the ONLY song no member of 5SOS has a credit on. Other songs have at least one member credited in lyrics, even easier which the majority was written and produced by Charlie puth, has Luke credited

1:38:49 2 weeks late, but oh well. they are on social media and do live streams and talk to their audience a lot. Michael also has a twitch and does streams here and there (not much atm, as he was/is busy touring and having a baby lmao), he made the others join his stream once, and did a tier list of their songs, which was very funny.
