I was a HUGE Sheryl Swoopes fan in the early years of the WNBA when I had Houston Comets season tickets. My elementary school-age daughter had her jersey and talked about wanting to be like her. Now Ms. Swoopes is behaving like this? My daughter told me the other day that she threw Swoopes' jersey away because of her recent behavior. I told her "Good!"

Really deep words by Erica Wheeler/Indiana Fever to say the outside world was trying to get into this building and we did not let it... the hate and harrassment that Caitlin has gone through from Swoopes plus others on social media and having to have a body guard and security from death threats and stalking and hateful comments would break most people. The attention and scrutiny that all the Indiana Fever players and coaching staff on Indiana Fever have had to go through this season could have torn this team apart. Wisest thing they did was to ignore all of it... these women are having a blast together and are making WNBA History together...

Geno Auriemma chose Paige Bueckers in 9th grade and started his put downs way back then on Caitlin Clark... cannot stand his arrogance... Caitlin's entire college career he kept saying if Paige was not injured it would be Paige winning all these awards. He had all his UConn WNBA alumni like Diana Taurasi and all the ESPN/UConn alumni put Caitlin Clark down. People are just starting to call him out on him pushing Paige Bueckers over Caitlin Clark for the last five years. Geno Auriemma and Sheryl Swoopes made life miserable for Caitlin Clark.

I was disappointed to hear Geno Auriemma’s comments toward Caitlin Clark and whether her skills would translate to the WNBA. A few years ago, Paige Bueckers was playing better than Caitlin Clark. You may remember that Paige was the Naismith College Player of the Year for 2021. She can ball. Unfortunately, Paige got hurt twice and missed the majority of 2 seasons. Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark found her groove with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Caitlin Clark won the award in 2024. Paige Bueckers has another season of college eligibility left. It remains to be seen how she will do. On a side note, I personally feel that Caitlin Clark wouldn’t have been the best fit at UCONN because I’m not confident that Geno would have given her the green light to shoot as much as she did at Iowa. Regardless, I’m a fan of both Paige and Caitlin. I’ve watched both of them play through high school and college. I wish both of them the best of luck.

Geno is a lot of things YT won't let me say, he opened his mouth and made some of the most ridiculous, arrogant and offensive comments I've ever heard a big name coach make, but the best part of it all is now he looks like a total clown and ya gotta love that and I'm so very grateful Caitlin did NOT end up with Geno. As for Bueckers...she is very good but as good as she is she does not have the "IT" factor that Caitlin has. And even better Geno and Swoopes having made life miserable for Caitlin has come full circle. It's all fun and game until the Rabbit's got the gun....😂

In reference to Paige, I worry about unreal expectations for her to come in and dominate. She is being promoted to be better than CC. The biggest problem with that is that they both play a different style of bball. I had started watching Paige before she got hurt, and then CC came along. I only wonder how long it will take her to adjust to the league, will she see the same type of defense that CC saw. It will be interesting, I hope Paige stays healthy and wish her the best of luck.

Remember THIS IS THE BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD. As the league expands and they play more games, I expect CC’s records to fall. As good as Paige is I don’t see her being the one to do it, mostly because of her style of play, it’s so much different than CC’s.

Geno Auriemma is also, financially in deep now with Paige Bueckers in The Unrivalved League and two other unnamed projects. He needs Unrivalved to succeed and these other unannounced yet things. But most of all Geno needs Paige to be the star of the WNBA this year... Geno arrogantly believes that the torch has been passed to Paige now that Caitlin is not in college.. he wants UConn to win the NCAA Championship. Caitlin's fans came from all over... not just Iowa... anyone that watched her play got hooked on watching her. Caitlin created that feeling in fans herself: Not a UConn loaded team with 5 star athletes being pushed by a coach. A coach trying for 4 years to make people feel like they were idiots to be fans of the girl from Iowa... is not the way to try to get those fans to watch his protégé, Paige Bueckers.

Geno AURIEMMA has pushed Paige Bueckers over Caitlin Clark as the top High school 5 star athlete since they were in high school once he got Paige Bueckers to commit to UConn. Kind of scary how much power Geno has in the sports world with all his connections and all the UConn alumni in ESPN and pro sports.

It is too bad that Swoopes recruited both NaLyssa Smith and DiJonai Carrington into hating Caitlin Clark before the WNBA Draft. Swoopes had all ready been caught in her lies on the Gill's podcast and was trying to get the WNBA stirred up to give Caitlin a hard welcome to the WNBA and was requesting Angel and WNBA vets to say the Caitlin and Iowa and Indiana Fever fans are nasty to Swoopes and Angel. NaLyssa would have had a fun season this year if Swoopes had not sucked NaLyssa into all of the hate.

The last game made me sick to my stomach. I already started losing interest DURING the 2nd to the last Ace's game. Boston fouls out and Wilson gets none? And at least 2 of Boston's fouls were totally bogus. If the referees are going to juice the game, they should at least not make it so obvious. It really discredits Wilson's accomplishments. It's like they are laughing at Clark and Fever fans and don't care we know about their biases. I'm done, just like the WNBA wants it because they don't want too many people actually watching and exposing how disgustingly bad this entire league really is. The people who thought the WNBA was terrible before Caitlin Clark, now think it's worse than even they could have imagined.
