Today when I was praying, I got very dizzy and almost lost consciousness. However, thanks to Allah Subhnah Wa Ta'la, I got better after a few seconds, and was able to continue my prayer. But this got me thinking that one day, death will come, and it is scary. I am so excited to see my lord, and I know he is the most merciful, but I really want to be a better person when I stand in front of him. Never forget death, my brothers and sisters, it is scary and it can suddenly come, even if you are young! Do not dismiss your religion, pray, fast, and do your best to be a good human, I swear this life is full of hardships, and obviously whilst we must try to contribute positively in society, and make the best out of our life, we should never love this world too much. At the end of the day, do not forget that we are being tested, so do prepare properly. May Allah guide every single one of you and forgive all of your sins. Say "AstagfiruAllah" from heart, and know that Allah is the most merciful. Be sincere to Allah, he knows everything. Subhan Allah!

(He was like a son to me, as I have no children of my own). I pray that the passage of time not only makes it easier for you/your family to cope with the loss, but that the tragedy acts as a gateway for you/your family to obtain Jannah-tul-Firdous, as Allah Aswajal promises this to parents who show patience at the loss of a child. Also, you say that his death has led you back to Islam, which, InshaAllah, is an indication that both you and your son are destined for Jannah-tul-Firdous. Pray sincerely for forgiveness for him, and the best for him in Barzakh and Hereafter: InshaAllah, Almighty Allah never ignores such prayers of a mother. (I hope that you don't mind me saying, but, it could be that the Glorious Creator took your son, not only because he had passed the test for Heaven, but to bring you back to Islam, so that both of you could obtain Heaven, InshaAllah).

Some ways to earn good deeds even after death. 1. Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Every time they read from it, you gain. 2. Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it, you gain. 3. Teach someone to recite a Dua. 4. Share a Qur'anic CD. 5. Participate in building a Mosque. 6. Place a water cooler/ well in a public place. 7. Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 8. And the easiest of all, share this message with people. Even if one person applies any of the above, you gain.
