Thanks for pointing out the Mother Earth food truck which we didn't know about. The last time we tried to eat at their restaurant (at their hotel) it was closed, so this time we'll look for the truck. Good vegan food should always appeal to everyone, even to carnivores. We also like Pico Bistro in Tamarindo. Good food on the beach.

Happy to read that! Too bad the restaurant was closed when you went there last time. You're really in for a treat. Say hi to the girls from us when you're there. This was by far the best vegan food experience I have had. They really develop dishes that are tasteful. We will feature more food videos in the upcoming weeks in our Tamarindo playlist. Next time we will look for the Pico Bistro. Enjoy your time in Tamarindo, we were there for 7 months until December. We thoroughly enjoyed it there and hope to return soon.

I need to find some Restaurants in Tamarindo that offer Gluten Free dishes as she is Celiac, and please don't mention vegetarian that's a choice.... Celiac isn't!!

Hi Barry. Sorry to read about her Celiac and thanks for mentioning it. In all honesty I hadn't heard about it before and I will take that in account for my future remarks about food choices. And next time we shoot restaurants, we will include more options such as gluten free menus as I'm sure more people might be interested. I found this list of restaurants in Tamarindo that have GF dishes/menus. Not all of them seem to have a large variety but most seem quite nice. I hope you find a few that are to your liking.
