Mike - I've stayed at both Shilla and Lotte hotels, both buffets are equivalent. It's pretty typical that Korean hotels focus on Chinese/Japanese/Western foods for breakfast. I'm like you and would prefer more Korean dishes. The best breakfast food to try out in Korea is Ox Bone Soup or Seolleongtang. I would love to see you do a breakfast tour of the best ones.

Oh, another good one is Korean warm noodles. I found one in Korea just roaming around one day at 6 AM like you and randomly pushed on some ticket machine at a restaurant and out came these wonderful warm noodles. Maangchi calls them "Guksu", and has a video on them.

Lol, I'm not sure which part you are referring to, the part of the hotel buffets or my favorite Korean breakfast food. I think my statement of hotel buffets is true. As for the breakfast foods, I don't claim to be Korean and know what Koreans like for breakfast, I'm just a frequent visitor to Korea that knows what I like.

Agreed. Whenever I go to Korea, my host company books me at this hotel. Their breakfast is phenomenal. The selection is vast. The quality is top notch. Agree they could use more local Korean dishes. I think they may actually bring you ice cream on request. All in all, some of the breakfast you’ll ever get anywhere...especially for the price.

We went to a balcony all you can eat ... mirrors here and there and a kids play area💜 they served different types of meat and seafood and cut it in front of you and dessert was adorable and they had a buffet for your hot pot or korean Bbq (including seafood). It was memorable.

Nah, high and low metabolic rate differences are not that vast between everyone in the world. It's a total myth barring some extreme cases for some individuals. The reasons why he still look toned despite eating so much in all his videos are because he doesn't actually eat like this all the time off camera and he also works out every single day just so he can eat big when he wants to. He addressed this in one of his previous videos.
