5-STAR LUXURY RESORT IN BOHOL 🇵🇭 Philippines [Tour + Review]

I stayed four nights at one of the Philippines BEST Resorts in Panglao Beach (Bohol). For the first two nights I was in the Hennan Alona Beach Resort and for the final two nights I stayed in the Hennan Tawala Resort. The total cost for all four nights came out to $100/night.

Try South Palms Bohol next time you visit Panglao. The beach, rooms, spa, and food are way better. The price point is much better too.

As a solo beach travel, for swimming I have found and bought a water sling tote on Amazon or in asia( seen at many beach areas like phuket and Philippines) and you bring it with you and it floats and is waterproof polyurethane fyi

Great you made it to our home island of Bohol. The best way to discover this island is to rent a motorbike and do a round trip on it, you will be disappointed what you will discover. I would take your time about a few days to do it. Can't believe its been 8 yrs since we visited this resort when it opened back in 2015. Still looks nice. Also, try walking the entire beachfront from end to end its awesome.

the rope barrier with the floaters is not actually for paddle boarders or swimmers, its for the boats and bankas so they don't take up the space or moor their boat there. ;)

Stay at Belmont Hotel in Boracay Station X. You can get as cheaper as 70USD per night, with a private beach away from the crowd of the 3 stations.

Zane there are more resoets nearby like Eskaya , South Palms Resort etc. i line tbe vibe of south Palms beachfront bec of it’s blue water and amenities and live bands and there are more activities line ferry or biat ride, animal feeding etc. I don’t know if they have a golf cart line in Eskaya Resort. After South Palms u can see these other beach resorts beside.

There are plenty of other great resorts in Panglao for around 2500 pesos per night with great amenities if not better pools also minutes walk to the beach.

The other side of Alona is beautiful BBC private resort , Palm resort & Dumaluan. . I'm from Bohol but lived her in Texas with my American husband. He really love BBC .

Yes, Bohol Beach Club ( BBC) is where 8 miles from home family vloggers stayed. They liked it so much plus the water was crystal blue and white sand beach.

The massage price is just right bec u went in a private resort of course the price is higher. In other western countries it is 45-60 an hr. It depends on the place amd kind of massage.

Zane, in the Philippines there is no such thing as a private beach. By law all shorelines, all beaches are owned by the government therefore every filipimo citizen and foreign tourists has the right to access any beach in the Philippines. Henann does not own the beach fronting its resort. Anyone can go to that beach to swim or just lay and chill on its sand. In the afternoon you can see a lot of locals and tourists alike using the Henann beachfront. At least you know now. Enjoy your holiday in the Philippines. Take care and stay safe 🇵🇭 😊

South Palms is much better bec there are 2 swimming pos separated locations, swings, crade like net nade in front kf beach, live singers and the deluxe and premiumbeach front rooms are near the beach withsnll table and chairs outside the room and very colorful beach chairs and the cottages fie dine it has 2 big venues i guess. Very colorful amenities in front. Nice summer beach vibes in South Palms in Bohol.

expat here: Henann is definitely not a 5 star resort. It's more a Corporate resort. I'm sure the only 5 star in Alona is Amorita resort, which looks a 100 times better than Henann in vibe, architecture, food and tranquility. It's the only place that ever amazed me. HenAnn looks mid and amorita looks like mindblowingly beautiful. Just the architecture alone. (Same architect who did most of NEW CLARK CITY & CEBU NEW AIRPORT AFAIK)

Prices all over the world gets high even in other western countries. Other countries in asia needs to cope up or else the businesses there will be closed. When prices of gas increased bec or war in Ukraine all over the world all the prices of goods and services etc will follow. Everytime i look on shoppe, Lazada and other shopping websites i convert it in peso and it is right. I let my friend who had a vacation in Philippines buy me a terno sando and short, then he said 10 yrs ago the price of it is $5-6 now it is $11 but am not surprised it is ok in understand eventhough am out of tbe country since 2012. All tbe goods and services are all high that’s why i avoid going to parlor and massage weekly or monthly bec aside from the fee i will need to give a tip always.

Panglao is exorbitantly pricey overall, mainly targeting naive foreign tourists walking the main streets looking more stupid with their string-covered buttholes and areolas. For me, Bohol is a one-shot travel experience, with wearisome places to see, unlike other Ph Island destinations you'd wish to come back to or stay a bit longer. That chase-the-dolphins thing was disgustingly cruel and I wished the river tour was just a bad dream

Massage esp in hotel beach resorts are usually pricey because of the tourists' price, but if you book a massage to any spa in the country, nowadays, the cheapest you can get after inflation is only P300 OR 5.32 USD. Still the same quality, sometimes much better.
