5 Star Sunspot Rank Up and Gameplay | Marvel: Contest of Champions

After asking the community which of the most recent featured 5 Star champions should be taken to rank 5 we have a conclusion.
Sunspot has taken the hot seat in becoming my next rank 5 champion. Although, resources are quite bare from ranking up Namor we also do have a ton of saved crystals to open. After ranking up Sunspot we run into our good friend Winter Soldier to explore the possibilities of his high damage output. Enjoy the video!

I’m glad you enjoyed that William! It’s really fun to do these little voice dialogue edits every now and then. If you have the Sigil I would recommend getting one every 10 days for 11k when it refreshes in the case that you have the cavalier title. If you have the uncollected title it’s 13k which is still pretty good. Best of luck to you. Hope you pull him!

The Analyzer - yeah, thanks I’ve got the Cav title, just having Zero luck with ‘reduced featureds’...I got frustrated and pulled a basic, got a Nick Fury which was nice, but hoping to get Sunspot when the reduced featured refreshes...

So glad you're back on the regular. And yup. Catalyst delivery from randomized crystals means players are at the mercy of RNG as to whether they will get the right catalysts at the right time. With 2 choose 7, we have poor odds of being catalyst efficient. Part of the design to slow down player progression to tamp down the front runners... So those left behind feel they can still catch up... Necessary to retain enough players to keep the game going...

Much appreciated! I very much enjoyed his fighting style. There’s a couple ways to play him so I demonstrated ones with an SP3 involved and then at the end one without an SP3 which may be the best way to fight champions with less health.

My R1 6^ does like 30k damage on this final crit hit after doing 2 X sp1 and gaining charges back before doing an sp2. Seems really low in comparison.
