Great interview. However what he didn't explain is how he got in contact with the hedge funds. It's one thing to have a product that services a particular niche, it's another thing to have the opportunity to introduce it to them.

he basically said that he knows people in that space. my pov is when you're creating a business like he mentioned, either partner with someone who has connections, or build an audience in that space

Having first-hand experience with GLG from both the buy side (at hedge funds) and as an expert, I've thought about this idea as well. What I think makes it so tough - and this isn't unique to this particular idea, but just the category in general - is that you are trying to create a two-sided market. That is a very difficult thing to bootstrap and just a tough problem to crack in general.

Hi, can you elaborate on the first business idea about selling insights to hedge funds? Specifically, what kind of data and insights are involved?

Great epidode and subscribed to Jesse's bootstrapped giants newsletter! Question for Jesse, is there a way to gauge whether or not my meta pixel is well seasoned? You mentioned 1-2 months but how do I know if my ads aren't converting well because my pixel is still being "seasoned" or if it's because I have bad creatives. Thanks in advance!

This kind of video definitely tell us 2000 bubble is playing out again. Since it is so muted, I think this bubble will have massive impact. Remember first heart attack is always very visible. Second/third heart attacks are always silent, most people don't notice. This bubble is like second/third heart attack.

Yes! This was one of my fav!! I even loved the pump business marketing! I’m a mom, but still get that!!! Love the kids music. I have 7 and 9 year olds that have literally made up their own annoying 3 lyric repetitive songs that they LOVE and I look at them like 🧐 LOL😂😂😂
