They said 2500 down and 1250 a week which included maintenance for a new cascades. That doesn’t include bobtail and other insurances. Your fixed costs would probably be around 1400 a week. Coupled with fuel your costs will be around 2800 to 3000 a week. Which means you need to gross around 5 to 6k every week to make decent money which I guarantee isn’t possible all the time with the fluctuating freight market. No thanks.

I talked to these people. The down payment on the Freightliner was about $2500. The Volvo was over $5000. They also give you assistance on the Freightliner down payment is what I was told. But I was also told that the revenue would average about $1200 per week.

Considering dong it with Schneider what would be an estimate of the down payment with great credit? I own my house and cars. Retired military and retired school employee been OTR for the last year currently driving for a company
