I like what you're doing. Not providing an "easy" way to play by eye, but rather encouraging the development of playing by ear. I actually learned more from this than I initially expected. Had to fiddle with the chord inversions though. Can't quite decide if the note I'm hearing is the root of the chord or simply the highest note in the inversion. I'll try to work on that next. Your strategy definitely worked on me and I'm thankful for it.

Thanks! I don’t want to spoon feed people the sheets all the time; instead I want to give people the tools and encourage them to figure it out on their own so that they don’t have to rely on other people for any songs they want to cover
