Stocks have been laser-focused on interest rate cuts for the next leg higher. The Fed’s fastest rate hike in 40 years starting March 2021 drove stocks crashing 21% by October, just seven months later. Stopping the rate hikes in July of last year and the market is up 26% since then. Now investors are hoping the Fed comes to the rescue, lowering rates and reversing the damage it’s done to the economy. A cut in its Fed Funds rate would flow through to mortgages, consumer and business borrowing costs and help recharge the economy and stocks. The central bank held rates at the highest in decades when it met this month and investors aren’t expecting a cut in July either. But the Fed could be about to use its stealthiest tool to lower interest rates and just before the economy. It will mean big moves in stocks, especially those in three groups. AI Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Suggest you consider positioning for one cut in Q4 '24 & one in Q1 2025 for at least a portion of the portfolio.The market will not "ring a bell" to give you advance warning & the initial upside move could be quick. If yield is not important, IJR to participate in small-caps might work (Joseph - your thoughts?). Best of luck.

I love the idea of there being so much money on the sidelines waiting for a rate cut but I am hesitant to buy at all time highs. Institutions are salivating over that money and I feel they are driving the market to all time highs so that when the rate cut happens people will buy at all time highs just so the market makers can turn on those sell algorithms and taking all that sidelined cash

When are we going to talk about the effect of the Petro dollar going away and that many countries (Not just OPEC) are looking to get paid in other currencies? Where will all those dollars go? How are they absorbed? That being said, investors are so delusional that the entire economy could crash and they would still put all their money in stocks.

Recently read in July 2024 that 3 stocks will skyrocket by year end. MRNA is $123 noe will be $495 by early 2025. ALSO stocks like PARA. BBY , UPST and SQQQ will see huge increase.❤
