There are online clothing shops like Peter Manning and Ash & Eerie that cater to short guys. They have enough sizing options that you shouldn't need to tailor the pants. Sleeves could vary depending on your arm length. The prices aren't Wal-Mart, but great fit and high quality fabrics. Some places like Huckberry, Buck Mason, and a few others offer shirts in XS. Again, pricey but good fit and fabric.

I’ve been meaning to try out Ash & Eerie. Have you tried their pants or joggers? Joggers especially would be nice in a short length, as they don’t tailor that well.

@@JasonLocklear I have tried their pants, shorts, shirts, sweaters, and the lounge pants. The joggers in my size weren't in stock until now. The lounge pants were comfy and fit awesome. I did NOT read the laundry instructions and put them in the dryer, which caused some pilling. This was obviously my error. They're still nice. Might get another pair of lounge pants or joggers for later. Overall, I've been very happy with Ash and Erie. They're usually generous with coupons. My only gripe is that all of their button down shirts at the moment have the open or camp collar. I prefer a more traditional collar for versatility beyond summer casual.

I'm 5'2". What helped me was realizing that no retail store has shirts that fit me. The length and sleeves are always too long. I now buy online from online sites that cater to shorter guys. They are not inexpensive, but for me, buying from them is easier that getting all of my shirts tailored.

What I have found too is that this new trend of "untucked" shirts that are out now actually fit like a normal shirt should/would. I am 5'5" and an untucked shirt falls right where it should be. I sometimes have to still tuck it in, but at least it doesn't feel like its tucked down to my knees!!

Oh man I remember when all collared shirts were massive off the rack! I agree, thank goodness for the untucked button downs from J Crew and the like.

I am 5’5” and on the heavier side, where can I find better fitting clothing?
@JasonLocklear2 жыл бұрын
Great question!! I have some heavier set friends with solid style. Layering is your friend. Grab a nice tee (or ribbed tank) from Cuts, BYLT, True Classic, Uniqlo, and layer with a solid J Crew button down and Bonobos or Everlane chinos or Levi’s dark wash jeans, Thursday boots, you’ll look amazing this fall!
