I remember someone explaining it as a vibrational reading of current energy. Energies are always subject to change. Somehow that explanation helped me a lot. Especially considering other people’s energies change and are out of our control even though they affect us.

My very first reading I paid for was a Celtic cross. It was overwhelming. I remember getting into my car afterwards and struggled to remember it all and what it all meant. Years later, I have no desire to learn it now that I work with tarot for my own development. Maybe I’ll give it another try eventually.

It's not my favorite spread to use, for that exact reason. It can be confusing to read that many cards at once! Some people like having that structure in place so they know where each card applies (past, future, etc). It's awesome that you're open to trying it again. But also, know that it is YOUR practice, and what's most important is reading the cards the way that resonates best with you 🥰 Love and light on your journey ✨

I have had cause to use a modified fool’s spread after a friend died. The modification was that there were four possible outcomes and having selected those, the fool landed on the got a new body pile which meant my friend was starting life again on some planet. I find it useful with modified fool’s spread to have an extra pile for some outcome unknown to you has happened.

That's a great question! It's partially for aesthetic reasons, of course! But clear quartz is also for cleansing and balancing energy. This helps prevent the deck from absorbing unwanted or unintended energy from others, and helps me recieve 'clear' messages from the deck 😊
