let me tell you sir that your lessons are absolutely brilliant and creative. your way of explaining and simplifying these complicated concepts is just genius

The fact that you explained this so well (specifically filters) almost made me cry when I ACTUALLY understood it!!! 😂😂😂 Filters are explained so many ways and with so many metaphors that really seem far from the ACTUAL concept…and I really like your explanation. Thank you!!!

Thx for the video, interesting to see the "users view". (Just a one small thing: A high impedance means that the signal is weaker, therefore the 60 Hz Signal at Fp1 is not 0 relative to F3, not the other way round)

Nice video on technical aspects of EEG
@sayonmandal34519 ай бұрын
00:02 Understanding technical issues in EEG is crucial for accurate interpretation. 01:57 EEG recordings capture different frequency bands such as alpha and beta waves. 03:39 EEG filters affect signal amplitude at different frequency ranges. 05:23 Adjust low and high frequency filters in EEG 07:07 High-frequency filtering affects EEG measurements 08:45 High impedance electrodes are more susceptible to 60 Hertz artifact. 10:27 Impacts of knotch filter and sensitivity setting on EEG recordings 12:15 Changes in sensitivity and time base can affect EEG interpretation.

Thanks a lot for your videos! I'm a student in Neurology and they are very useful! May you do a video of EOG and type by type of eye movements?

What if an eeg is recorded at 50hz hff instead of 70hz hff? Is this ok to do or should eeg study be recorded at 70hz?

2:37 Low frequency filter aka high-pass filter?? How??
@Supernoxus5 жыл бұрын
Because it filters low frequencies (stops them) but passes high frequences (lets them through). Like if you are a girl who only likes tall men, then you are filtering short men, but let tall men pass.
