Hold it for two seconds and the lcd dispjay will flash, you then have three different options: one set the current year which is important so it knows what the day of the week it is. I just got mine from Temu. My Snooze button doesn't alter the brightness and the displayed day is wrong for the inputted date. I can't seem to change this. I would have preferred it if it stayed on constantly as I like the colored display it shows. I payed $7.25 for it and that's not bad. The alarm sound is not too loud. Good video btw!

Question 1: Does the unit get warm/hot? I'm assuming there's sensors inside to tell you the humidity and temperature, but wondering if heat from the unit interfers with the reading? Question 2: What does the graphic to the top-left do? What information is it suppose to give you? I'm assuming as it's not connected to the internet for information in your area, it changes based on humidity, temperature, & time?

The unit doesn’t get warm with either usb direct power or two batteries. I think that graphic may be showing the temperature history . If you are looking for something more accurate choose one with an outdoor sensor .

I’ve not had a problem . Like an old Casio watch to set up . Hold left button until time : date blinks then use next button to set .

Good question! I think it’s using air pressure and humidity. More expensive models with outside sensor will be more accurate.
