Pringles lid is handy for holding small parts while setting a deck up

One thing i've been doing over the years is turning old Altoids Tins into FB Cases. As long as the deck isn't wider than 34mm and isn't crazy long it will fit in the tin and its a great DIY FB case. 10/10 would recommend

Yeah, I also use altoids tins, the only thing is it wears down the grip on the tail and nose

Another awesome item is a washable lint roller. They’re great for breaking in/cleaning grip

Great video as always, Annie! I use an orange oil based cleaner (D-limonene based) to remove old grip tape adhesive and clean my wheels. I remove the wheels and soak them in the cleaner solution, give them a good dry off and spray some skateboard bearing lubricant and you're good to go!

I also use the blunt side of a Stanley knife to cut my grip tape (DKFB74 always have videos on this on their instagram!)

Some good bits and bobs on that list! I'd never thought about using loctite before. I have a miniature cylindrical file which I use for gripping. I also look at containers or pretty much any object with the filter "Can it be used in any way for Fingerboarding"
@AnnieYan2 жыл бұрын
Haha you get it!! Also loctite truly is the best haha

I would say avoid laquer if it is a graphic you really like. Sometimes depending on what the graphic is made out of or what clear coat the deck already has on it, it can potentially have a chemical reaction where the solvent in the laquer can eat away the deck graphic if you aren't careful. I would reccomend testing just the tail or nose first to see how it reacts before coating the whole thing, and I wouldn't personally use it on any decks I'm not willing to ruin anyway in the process.

I literally have always used a skinny screw driver and a razor blade since I was a kid to grip my Fingerboard and I used the excess pieces of black magic from my actual skateboard after scraping the edge of my board and cutting off the edges with a razor blade

I use the nut end of a fb tool to cut bolt holes in the grip without taking the trucks off

I would not recommend spraying over a graphic… depending on what you use it could melt the graphic
