Dumb advice. If a woman "friend zones" you (idiotic term) it just means she doesn't want anything from you but friendship. When you grow up, you'll realize that friends are a good thing to have, and that attractive female friends are something no heterosexual male ever wants to be without.

@@MrMalicious5 Never let someone you're trying to be with friendzone you. It's fine to let girls you don't really care to be with friendzone you in order to use them for your own benefit whether it's at work, going out places etc. It increases your value tremendously. Guys who have too big of an ego to have female friends would see more success using tinder or going to bars and being more direct and to the point. Having female friends just opens more doors for guys who struggle and want more opportunities to get the women they want.

People don't just hear words they feel words. If the experience they experience with those words is not good often eventually they could not want that and feel/ experience something else they might pay more attention to/from someone else. The point is to be aware and actually treat each other kindly. Don't say things that can grind down a relationship even in spite and don't say things that can't be unheard. Ok call it courting getting to know each other with Faithfulness in your actions/ intent (start right) from the beginning but be clear and get to know each other. Easy. The principles are what are the steps are built on to help build something. The principle is to trust and pray to Christ that He and not yourself will guide you to a good person that He sees and knows that is right and fit for you and vice versa. Also don't say things that the other person won't be able to unhear. Man or woman. Women too are sometimes in their own heads about how they speak to someone or to their husbands. Its a principle thing and not really a gender thing. Everyone is a lil different too and will experience things differently throughout their lives but a common thing across the genders is a choice of words be it in constructive arguments vs deemening someone. Don't say something that one might not be able to unhear. Say what you need to say don't keep it in but find a better more correct way to say it with Christ's grace and help. Christ needs to be our focus for all of us. Everyone needs to treat each other with kindness love and respect the way that God would want us to be treated and that He would want us to treat each other.

I feel that by 3 months it could be potentially a relationship or even calling that person your girlfriend however the 6 month point it would be more serious. It just seems weird to me if you've been seeing someone for 3+ months and you haven't become pretty much exclusive. I think with any relationship how much you commit depends on how long your relationship has been so far. Definitely 6 months is a more serious relationship than 3 if the relationship even gets that far.

Also for the second one if you spend a lot of Money on a woman, they may not leave you but see it as an opportunity to take advantage of you. I can say this from seeing my uncle go through it with his two marriages. He was a plastic surgeon and both of his wives to a degree took advantage of his wealth. They liked his lifestyle more than they liked him even if he had kids with one of them.

Tripp, I have a question about #2 at 3:47, which I also heard you speak to on a recent podcast episode: How would you reconcile that advice with the guy's authentic personality? What if you are buying her stuff out of financial abundance and your own goofy playfulness, because you genuinely want to--not because you are "trying" to give-to-get, nor "because it seems to be working"? Example: I have had some ideas (if I ever have the opportunity) to do things like this idea: Buy her flowers TOGETHER when she least expects it, such as when we're already at the grocery store together. At some point while we're buying legit groceries, ensure we walk by the floral section and pick one out for her on the spot that matches her sun dress. Or I've even thought it would be fun to try to make her laugh and/or blush by telling her something like "you definitely need one" and buy her one of the cheap wooden flowers at 7/11 when we're are already there together, originally just buying gas and Cokes. To clarify, I'm not talking about BRINGING cheap flowers to her (probably definitely a no-no), I'm talking about doing so to try to praise her (see: #5) in her presence. Would an example such as that still be considered buying her affection?

When a man looks within, truly finds himself and his worth, values and moral compass (same goes for women) and doesn't need to turn to you tube on how to create a relationship with a woman, then he is winning. Boys and girls that are trying out stuff like this are so transparent because they haven't developed their own unique character and unconditional love for themselves and I feel for them as many of them do get taken advantage of by unevolved as you say, girls, not women. I have had a few male friends that may have wanted to be in a relationship with me be it serious or casual but knew from the get go that was not going to happen and who I've also given advice to (being yourself and not debasing yourself for approval and possibility of sex) and somehow we are still friends? I guess that can be chalked up to the fact we're mature adults and each think the other is a good person and adds value to one another's lives 🤷 men and women can be friends, just sayin' I think what is key to creating and maintaining a beautiful sustainable relationship is knowing and loving oneself first and foremost, that's most of the work done right there because then you know what you want, you establish clear and healthy boundaries, very quickly you will see possible compatibility and whether it is worth pursuing. 100 percent agree on taking things slowly. I personally don't know how people can be hooking up with so many different people, like the sacredness of relationships and true intimacy is just not respected or valued any more. There are a lot of men and women hurting out there who have a lot of wounds and negative feelings about each other and rightly so but please allow yourself the time to heal and realise that you attract what you are putting out. If you still haven't addressed your inner wounds you'll find yourself in similar situations and relationships. Much love, light and healing to you all and may you find a soul mate when the time is right to share your journey, God bless 🤝💓🌱🦋🙏🏽🕉️

Yes, compliment her. Also there is no shame in saying "sorry". You don't have to mean it, but it gives you more power than the fool that is too proud to say "I'm sorry" to a lady he is courtimg

I completely agree with the not be official boyfriend but not the buying stuffs cause all women love it & most women won’t think the guy is a loser but instead most women will think they are being valued & most women love to be valued . Buying affection is the best part ! They will appreciate it cause they will feel worth it !

Only thing I disagree with is the idea that you always need to compliment a woman if she asks how she looks. If she starts gaining weight, that's often the best time to bring that knowledge to her so you don't end up dating a fat girl. If you are the one to point out her weight gain however, then she will think you're a shallow person. By her going out of her way to ask you is basically giving you a free pass to tell her she's fat without having as much of a negative impact as you would by doing it out of the blue.

I agree with with the first 4 out of 5 , last one should be case by case and/or intermittently , it keeps them in check and they’ll keep trying harder to please you by wearing something YOU like , rather than what she likes

I don't know if it'll keep someone so to speak as "in check" but things can be verbally and intellectually understood/ perceived based on communication and cues as to what both like and feel comfortable in.

The 6 month rule is a debatable one. True, everyone wears a mask in the beginning. But the truly manipulative kind will be able to keep that mask up for a while. Now this is referring to extremely toxic people, but with them, the quicker you're in, the quicker the mask falls.

It depends on the culture. In our culture we date about 5 times within a few weeks, get engaged, and it works extremely well. Is important to check the other prison out with their friends, the school she went to and her teachers. Her Facebook profile says a lot about her, what is important to her. Dating someone for a long time doesn't necessarily get you to know that person. I disagree on this whole notion. Imagine if a bank would take six months before giving you a loan. If you are good at evaluating people and know who to asking the right questions to ask you can know someone right away. That is why you shouldn't sleep with someone that you are serious about. I think you have a lot of great ideas, but it would behoove you to look at other cultures and ideas and learn from the wisdom. I like you and I really do not mean any disrespect. I learn a lot from you as I do from many people.

You should be real. It is not just what you say but how you say it. Kindness in your manner helps work through differences. Friendship is the most important part of marriage after intellectual and physical chemistry. Emotional support when a problem comes seals the deal.

If by 6 weeks we aren't exclusive, I am gone. If we aren't an official couple by 12 weeks, I am gone. Most women aren't going to wait around 6 months. If a guy needs that long to know then he is not emotionally ready for a relationship. Women are not emotionally immature for not waiting 6 months. I would highly reccommend disregarding this man's advice.
@melissamcgee17333 жыл бұрын
@DreadLoc Sensi truth is you know early on if there is potential or not. And if 3 months in you still dont feel that you want to lock that person down, then they aren't the right one for you. I apply this to myself and self regulate so I dont waste any man's time either. If 6 weeks in I don't want to be exclusive, then something is missing and i probably wont get there. If 12 weeks in I don't want to commit, then I am not likely to get there. When you meet someone who you could see forever with you know. You have the urge to pursue them and commit. Don't waste other people's time. If you aren't crazy about her then just let her go early on.

The 6th month commitment thing, actually, i think to a woman, if she stays that long in the "dating" phase especially if u two are exclusively seeing each other already and she states that she does want a relationship, then that my friend is what they call a "situationship". Emotionally mature women dont stick in "situationships". If she a good high value woman, she will walk if u dont give it a title by 6 months, because why the would u two be seeing each other? What i found is 4-5mos, 6mos max would be a good time.
@legoboy-ox2kx3 жыл бұрын
I would say one caveat with the first one is that 6 months can be too long, or too short depending on the person. If you're socially adept and can get through to people quickly, then sure, you can be exclusive faster than that, but if you really need the time to get to know someone, sure, 6 months is reasonable

Yup great advice-only thing that I don’t like is how often times for men, if we reject the offer to be friends from a woman-then we’re seen as rude or being salty. Another double standard-women can reject a man saying he’s too fat or ugly and it’s tough luck buddy!-yet if a man rejects a woman for those same reasons we’re “shallow”.

Do not commit on the first 2 dates, maybe even longer. If you commit to her too quickly, she’ll dump you and claim to “have a boyfriend” on the first date and then you’ll have to do the 30-day no-contact technique and wait until summer or even longer than that.

? Myths. There is always a risk as with anything and that is real but if something really is good it is good. This is how you can discern. People don't just hear words they feel words. I was looking for this specific video for weeks before I moved in. I thought for sure that he said to give it six months before moving in... Thing is, I met my current partner which dating several women. She was the only one I really clicked with. She wasn't dating anyone else - so naturally we started seeing each other once per week. After about three months, she invited me to a family occasion and I met her parents... After six months, I moved in to her place (it was much better than mine...) - as I was living there about six nights per week anyway at that point. I like these rules, but I do think you're best off going with your trusty gut on these things too. Chiefly, don't decide to commit or to move in or marry out of scarcity/thinking it's going to fix things or give you greater control over your relationship. If you don't feel 100% sure on things, then yes, ease on the brakes for a while and see if that helps. If she pressures you to progress and you're not totally comfortable, then just say no. If she's not willing to wait, then it wasn't meat to be - better off finding that out now than later.
@mauricewalker8722 жыл бұрын
I disagree with point 1. How do you convince someone that you are really interested in them if you're not willing to commit? Why not "get to know the person" during a trial commitment period? This isn't marriage, just an understanding that intimacy, vulnerability and exclusivity are correlated. And why an arbitrary 6 months? That seems like a convenient oversimplification.

You can split it alienate it at times. Sometimes do but drinks or pay for your outing with your girlfriend/date the first times but talk with her about it perhaps to split the bill every so often. I'm a woman I do this anyways. I let him pay sometimes but there are other times that we split it we are there for each other and do look out for each other financially too. You want both to be okay.

Wait 6 months till being her boyfriend is great advice and we were boyfriend and girl at 5 months and that was enough time. But the mistake i made was living together at 5 months and she insisted we move in together. We were together for many years but it would have been better if we lived separately the first two years. It was convenient to live with her but it was a big mistake doing so. I have had several relationships where we lived together before dating enough and doesnt work. I have done that with women I have been friends with for a long time before we got into a relationship . It is better to date them for 6 months first and then after 18 months you can live together if you are like husband and wife. Do not buy her affection is a great advice but what is funny is that my ex girlfriend bought me things to win my affection and only wanted me to buy her flowers all time. Stop buying her anything for a few months and see if her affection does down. Always tell positive things about a womans looks.
