Anyone else hit the like button before watching this man's content while also doing his high note exercises six days a week? Well I do 💯

No questions but great explanations.

I've been singing all of my life. I don't see things as "not making sense" so much as "this is the way things happen, and sometimes it takes time to discover why." But that's me.

Man what an awesome video. I would have never guessed that a vocal coach could sing worse than their student and still be an effective teacher.

That 1 day you can sing amazingly and the next day it kinda doesnt work that well

Your point on coaching applies to all situations, even for instrument instructors, it is not the best artist, players, salesman, CEOs, etc. that make the best coaches, it's the ones that understand what makes one better and how to convey the information at the same time learn who you are and what you need to be better.

What makes zero sense to me. 1. How come sometimes i can do a run and sometimes i cant. 2. Sometimes i can hit a high note and sometimes i cant….. or it just seems harder some days.

The part about breath control was a revelation. Thanks!

Another amazing video. I can learn so much from them. Think low to sign higher notes that is something that could be very helpful. Thank you so much for letting us know new stuff.

I get the point about all the pitches from "b" to "c", but a single frequency in that range can never be a percentage since there is actually an infinite number er of frequencies in any range.

Thank you Matt! This is really helpful information!

What I don't understand, is the singers who bug their eyes out, and tilt their head back thinking that's going to help them hit higher notes.

Amazing video!!! The tips from your channel have helped my singing get so much better. I still have a long way to go though lol. I was just wondering what app that is at 2:54? I’ve been practicing with a tuner for a while and it’s helped a ton, but this looks really cool for extra visualization of my pitch and vibrato. Thanks!!

I guess it is VocalPitchMonitor

I got Nail The Pitch that was recommended in one of his other videos. It doesn't look exactly like that but you can do the same thing with it

Very interesting video, most of all the plane technique!

I don't believe my plane flies high enough to descend to any peak pitch level.

What is most impressive is how you can sing off pitch and all the other bad techniques. Most of us want to never do it again and, yet, you make singing badly look easy. This zero sense to me. Lol.

Can you teach us rap music
@KAYISHUNGEEtienne7 ай бұрын
Of course he can because rap is a baby of normal singing

Would there be a reason I don’t struggle with high notes but seem to struggle with almost all my other range?

It makes zero sense to me that we aren’t moving more and more into AI analysis of people’s voices using computers. Right now it should be possible to teach an AI to recognize all sorts of things about a person’s sound and technique. Trained on a large enough dataset, an AI should be able to recognize the CT/TA activation, the closed quotient, tell tail physical signs of straining. It should then be able to give visual and auditory feedback that let’s a person learn to build muscle memory and gain tremendous control over their vocal space. This non-linear system is clearly high-dimensional. Why aren’t we working to bring in the latest technology to really broaden our understanding?
