5 things I hate about my 2007 Mahindra 4510 tractor. They will definitely be considered when upgrading to a newer tractor in the future.

Normally the clutch is two stage, meaning that if you press it halfway down, the speed box is disengaged from the wheels but the pto is still engaged. Otherwise, you normally have somewhere a mechanical lever or electro mecanical control button allowing you to turn off the pto completely. But otherwise, clearly, a gear transmission is not for everybody.

On the mirror issue, a good bit of tree trimming might do the trick.

Try cleaning radiator. I had to remove air cleaner and unbolt AC condenser to be to blow everything out real good. My 4510 was doing similar. After good cleaning it runs 25% cooler, with ac and 7 ft bushhog in use. Mine got bad from mowing crp acres.

Check your inside A/C evaporator core, you may find it has a dirty A/C cabin filter that's in front of the A/C core....just like cars and trucks have. It's a fine filter and dust will clog it quite easily.

Mahindra 6 series is when you start getting the real Mahindra. Sounds like you need a 6075. Real factory cabs real hydraulic systems much better Ergonomics etc etc.

Checking with Mahindra you will find the three side hydraulic levers are convertible to...detent settings....from your return-to-center type.

Thanks for this information. I have been looking at several Mahindra tractors to possibly buy. I will make sure that I check these items. The mirrors, AC and aux hydraulics are big no-nos to me. Like your channel.

I have a 2565 and found you to be spot on. I have less than 600 hours and need a new clutch with the shuttle shift. The mCR has not worked well, I had to replace the EGR valve at $872. I also had to replace the starter solenoid. $876. The idler whelk for alternator froze and needed to be replaced. I do not feel it is built well given the high degree of care it is given.

I have a 2018 2555 cab and the ac sucks also...currently broken now for the 7th time.. 4 times the tensioner pulley off the ac compressor melted off, 3 times the piping has burst...now the turbo melted the wiring harness 4 inches away...I can't wait to get rid of this tractor once it gets out of the shop!

@@MrHotrodx13x I’ll have to respectfully decline. With 850 hours on a tractor, you shouldn’t have had so many problems with it. That doesn’t give me a good feeling about mahindra. Sorry to hear you had so many problems with it. I know that’s got to be frustrating! I’d be better of buying a deer for more money and avoid the headache from what it sounds like.

Is your tractor getting hot because the radiator and condensor screens are getting plugged with debris? This is very common. What part of Ga are you in? I'm in middle Ga. Just subd your channel to follow along as you put more hours on your tractor. I own and work a mahindra also.

I’m in Monroe over by Athens (not Monroe county) I keep them as clean as I can by blowing them out and washing frequently. I believe the a/c radiator is too close to tractor radiator and they just can’t breathe. Over the winter I’m going to try to separate them to get air in between and use an electric fan on a/c radiator. Apparently this is a common complaint on this model. Thx for subbing!
@haleyfarmz3 жыл бұрын
Also I have heard on some mahindra models owners are adding a low pressure cutout switch because they didnt come factory with one. This keeps the condensor from freezing which stops airflow across condensor. This can be bought at most semi truck parts houses and consist of a relay that runs compressor clutch and a bulb that sticks in the fins of the condenser. May wont to check to see if your condensor in the cab is actually freezing up.

@@haleyfarmz good advice thx I’ll check into that, cut all day today and burned up with no a/c!
