Great vidoe i have a vidoe on my tool box i couldnt send at once sense it was to long but i got the tool box home this is more then thay wanted at tech school to it in your messenger on your facebook page take a look man and keep it up if the wife only new what we really spend lol

One thing that bugs about Snap on roll cabs ( both Epiq and Master series) is the way that the drawers on the narrow bank don't align with the drawers of the wider bank. It's probably a bit OCD, but I think it just looks so much better if all of the drawer pulls line up neatly!

I personally think the narrow drawers being aligned with the wide drawers looks kinda cheesy. I like the asymmetry of the drawers not lining up

The drawers come all the way out you have to cool down all the way out but a few times they will loosen up

A few of them.i have got worked out I have like three where one side hangs up your probably correct I just need to.work them a little bit more

Just be a man and pull the drawer all the way way out. Yes it get stuck and this may sound crazy but the slider itself seem like it have a memory. It will only open an seem sticky. Just pull the drawer all the way out.

The power outlets are placed there in case you buy a hutch. I personally don't care for the " new " style power drawer and love the older style or the power drawer Snap-on has for the side locker. Good video bud 🤙🤙🤙

Greatly appreciate it . I feel like how much the top sit off the actual box it could have been recessed or something a bit better . Seemed like an after though but totally get it for the hutch. I'm head I didn't get a power drawer to be honest almost seems like a wast of space with how I keep my set up

It's funny, I forget how cheap and sh**ty my box is until I look at the pros tool boxes lol. Being just a weekend warrior I buy the best tools I can, and neglect the box, but they never last. Eventually I'll learn buy once cry once. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to look at my 52inch Husky in shame 😂

I wouldn't look at the husky in shame . I worked out of a double stack 52 in for years and I finally sold it to broke and poor trading co . Maybe he will have it on his youtube one day. But they are absolutely great in my opinion biggest thing I found with them is organizing them is key to making it a great box . I think if I had to do it over I'd pick up two of those or a us general and not have a payment

@@classiclinesautomotive the drawers unfortunately don't lock as well as I would like. When I lock my box up I feel like I can still pull them open. I haven't tried it though . I'm only kidding though I'm not ashamed lol. I would be in divorce court if I spent a few grand on a tool box. I heard pretty good things about Husky's heavy duty class boxes. They are a little bit more money, but they still don't break the bank. I should have gotten that one

That’s the box I had before I got the epiq no regrets. My dealer gave me 1500 trade in on it, it was a 600$ box then another guy in the shop bought it from him for 200$ we’re funny creatures.

@@notme6071 i have the 52 inch with the wood top. A friend of mine has the 52inch with the top box. He loves it. That's awesome you got 1500 for it. You made money on it

Measure the actual box, the box is only 29”. It’s 30 with the trim lol. The drawer depth is barely an inch over the master series which is why they use the same exact drawer slides as the 29” master series. Also what most people won’t tell you or admit is the 84 main section is barely bigger than a 54” master series. I hate those boxes, always go with a 68 or if you need more a 68 with a side cab. I went back to a new master series after two epiqs.

When I was looking to go from my 54 to my 84 that was a big thing for me as I wanted a wider section for the double bank I think the three long drawers come in just a little bit wider . The 68 was an option I was looking into but my biggest thing is I wanted more top space .the masters series I think is just an awesome well rounded box I would definitely love to have one for home .

because the internal frame on the epic is more beefy and has gussets that the master series does not have.

Yeah you probably need to clean and regrease your bearings on those sticky drawers . I use white lithium grease. That Locking System kind of sounds a little bit flimsy but I've never had a chance to check one out. I have the old lock and roll system and yes it is cheap. Those cheap inserts are actually plastic and I have a number of broken ones that I need to replace. I don't even have a stainless top I just have the old steel top with a thin rubber insert type mat.

I'll probably roll up to the shop on the weekend and pull some drawers and clean slide and grease. I definitely feel like if I screw up and grab the handle wrong it may break . That's probably my biggest thing I dislike about the box .

While i agree the power outlets on the top are horribly done and the botton is in an easily bumped spot, putting them on the back would be useless as soon as you put a hutch and/or lockers on and couldn't reach it anymore

That is a very good point with the button on the back and power outlet with hutch I could work around but you are 100 percent correct with lockers

Spray a little lube on the drawer slides that don't want to come out all the way. Force it a few times and it will ease up

I have a question for you,are the rivets visible under the paint on the drawer fronts on your epic? I myself just got one for a really good deal but I'm wondering if thats normal for the epics?

Where the spot welds are yes they are visible on my epiq as well

My least impressed box I own is my Epic , it's pretty 100 plus edition , candy apple 68..got 3 masters one I have had over 30 years - the money maker 💰..Matco 4s is very impressive quality. 🇺🇸🔧 ✌

I love the masters series layouts and simplicity . My father was a matco guy for the longest time I remember when I was a kid him always having a big purple matco box now he has a masters series . But with the matcos they look neat but never tickled my fancy . What I love most about the epic is the overall height I would like another inch or two but not complaining. Also the drawer layout on this box was a deal maker
