I love mine. Not expensive in Canada. I need to say this, if you don't want the inside liner to come apart......don't leave it on your vehicle and dry it out when it gets wet. I think somebody was just looking for things to find wrong with a good product. It is also super easy to install!

I got mine free from someone that upgraded to another brand. It used to black, but was severely sun faded. The draw cord was so sticky that it would not cinch up the bag at all. I thoroughly washed it and dried it in the sun. Then painted it with black Plasti-Dip to bring the black color back to life as well as make it less susceptable to further sun fade. The cord was replaced with some 3/16" Bluesteel Sampson rope, which is made with super slippery fibers. Lubed it up further with silicone spray and fed it back and forth inside the cord channel to lube everything up. Now it cinches up tighter than what the old cord ever could when new. I hang mine off the back of my trailer that has a 28" spare back there. Looks and works like new. Love mine!

Wow ! That's a lot of cons for the poor little Trasharoo ... BUT ! IMO, at the end it WORTH IT ! It's so nice to be able to store trash, dirty lundry and all kind of filthy stuff outside the car. It's also very convenient to leave the campspot better than you found it ! For long term trips (more than a month) I couldn't do without it, that's for sure !

I agree ! Once again my cons are my personal opinion and I want to show the aspects of a product that you might not think about 😁 At the end I was happy to have it when we traveled ! 🚙🎒🎉

So number 5 is that you can’t organize your garbage bag ? It is a trash bag. Not a backpack ..................... this is the same as buying a boat and being mad it does not fly.

When you're on the road for several months (not just a for a weekend pretending to be outside in front of your house) you need all the space you can have/find... so the Trasharoo (as I said in the video) had many purposes... But wait, your boat can't fly ?!?! I'm sad for you mate you should ask for a refund !

Was thinking of getting one for carrying dry firewood. Prices on eBay UK aren't too bad, but now I'm not too sure. Suppose you could put a heavy duty garden rubbish type bag in there to protect the lining. Have you seen any trasharoo alternatives? Good review!

I know there are some alternatives by overlandgearguy or the Garb bag, but they are pretty much the same as Trasharoo (IMO) ! We tried adding another bag inside to protect the lining but everytime we took something out the bag would follow... 😑 If you find it at a reasonable price maybe why not, but if it rain your dry wood won't stay dry for long..

I have some of the same issues with the semi-soft side bags/cases on my bike (most especially the discoloration, they were black when I bought them, but the greyish purple thing you mentioned now, LOL). Yeah, I think the discoloration is a normal thing but still it makes me upset to buy outdoors gears that are not meant for a fully outdoors purpose haha ! So glad we made you smile 😃 Thank you ! 🙏🏻🚙🏞

Where we are in BC, Canada, it would only work while driving. It would not be good to leave anything that has food smells on it outside, due to the bears. We use a fully airtight sealed container in the vehicle. I think they would be great for picking up trash from other people on the trail though. :)

Have one for my G Wagon. Just use it for the trash, for everything else I dont trust it in the long run.
