I've had a 2011 Fusion for 3 years now. Had to replace the steering rack and some suspension gremlins early on but overall it's a nice car. I am starting to notice a lot of them with rust progressing on the rocker panels.

Haven’t had any major repairs like those yet. Were they difficult or relatively straight forward?

@@whitegtjay8896 The power steering went out which meant on the 4 cylinder the whole rack had to be replaced. Had a persistent clunk in the front end. Neither an independent repair facility nor a local Ford dealer could figure it out. After spending a boat load of money on front end parts and a little nudge from Ford corporate the dealer managed to fix it. It was a strut. Apparently the repair facility had installed a faulty replacement assembly or installed it incorrectly. But since those fiascos the car's been great.

Convinced me to get it, looking at buying one with the sunroof and mini spoiler.. current cars power steering pump broke 4 times, paid someone different to fix it everytime with no luck.. drove it for 2 years with no power steering, never seen more than a 90 degree turn.. so that power and electric power steering sounding real nice about now 😂

Sunroof would be nice 🙌🏾 and the spoiler is a must. I bet you got way stronger after manhandling your steering wheel for 2 years 😂😂 yeah that electric power steering is a game changer lol. just curious, what’s your current car?

Is the insurance expensive for this car? I was considering getting it as my first car and this was one of the things that I was wondering about.

It really depends on your driving record, if you get it on your own policy, a parent’s policy, and more factors. Insurance is better on this car than a lot of other cars though since it’s not too flashy or fast or expensive in general. I think it would be a great first car though!

Yooo I'm in Michigan this shit was fuckin 850 for plpd when I was 16. Still expensive at 400 a month but I got full coverage now that I'm 21. Still love the car tho.

Do you have the 4 cylinder or v6? And blue headlights or blue lights on the interior?

Yeah I know the 4 cylinder ones can get up and go too. I want to upgrade my headlights some day. I put LED lights on my interior that change colors and I love it at night time. Also wish I had a sunroof

Personally I think the Fusion is better. It seems like the fusion has more room than the versa. There are also more engine options and comfort options for the Fusion so you can get one that best fits your needs.
