It's nice that it has a lot of similarities to the regular A3, because it makes it one hell of a sleeper.

no experience of the 8V+ but I have an 8P RS3 at 516bhp and I honestly love it. 1) I don't mind the exhaust but I have full Milltek. 2) I like the slightly sleeper status. 3) I strangely have painted mirrors and handles but mine's an Audi unique colour (dark burgundy pearl) 4) Have Forzza 19" wheels on mine which are marmite but I love them. 5) Just put a Pioneer unit in mine with android auto which just works for me. :) - LOVE - 1) Love my engine with hybrid turbo. 2) Agree ref lights and the way they corner at slow speeds. Most of my front end is the same burgundy. 3) Agree DQ500 - mine's mapped to suit the engine tuning. Just works lovely. 4) Practical YES. Go to golf course and just pop seats down and lob clubs and trolley in. I have the RS3 buckets in mine. Do like them. Also heated.

The doorhandle chrome actually goes better with the RS3s’ mirrors, in terms of design elements, than the A3, where that’s the only chrome other than the grill. Body color would seem, almost cheap for the doorhandles.

Just some info...Yours comes with the alloy pack which has the silver on the door handles,grill,front bumper surrounds & on the edge of the rear roof spoiler. You need to bear in mind Audi only made 2700 8P RS3 of which 750 came to bighty & was basically a parts bin special as the 8P was coming to the end of it run (2013 saw the 8v platform) so no change to the body shell baring the front composite wings to accommodate the option 255 tyres with matching bumper meaning not change to the exhaust system as no 8P had twin outlets unlike the Golf R. The wheels are just the styling of the time as are the seats/interior & Satnav. The engine/drive train & brake calipers are from the 8J TTRS. Mine has the buckets which does make it very special (Not fitted to any other RS3 since) lovely to drive & on trackdays. I view it's understated looks as a plus....if I wanted to get noticed I'll buy a Ford focus RS or a Type R.

What do you think about this model being the same price as a 67 plate BMW M140i? I know is RS v MLite but they do seem so expensive these days.

It depends on what you're after. The fact that a 67 plate car has lost so much value in 4 years and yet the RS3 is holding its value? I've driven plenty of m135i and m140i and they don't kick as hard as the RS3s do. Also for Britain, id rather have a car I can have fun with no matter the weather and not worry about spinning out on a roundabout in a slight bit of rain but I do understand why people like the rear wheel drive m140i instead. They do sound awesome, personally I dont think they look as good!

Me too. Same colour with buckets. I had APR stage 1 on mine from Awesome in Manchester. Completely transforms the car.

Hello, is the exhaust stock? A good video would be what the running costs are like and what's it been like in Ur over 1 month ownership as myself am looking to buy this car or a newer m240i. :)

Hey mate! Thanks for the comment. The exhaust is stock apart from a secondary decat which I did a video on! And yeah I’m doing a video on running costs this week sometime! Been planning some stuff with Audi York and some very exciting videos coming out this week. These are a lot more fun than the M240i. M240i almost feels too safe so as a drivers car I’d stick with the RS3

Really like the 8p shape, though I think the 05-08 front end is nicer without the slopey melted headlights and massive mirrors.

No sadly not! Never had an issue with oil. Was always a solid car.

how many km / miles would you think this engine can take when it has been taken care of very well there is one for sale that is very cheap but has 250k km on it but it has always been Audi dealer maintained so im in a dillema one side thinks its risky to buy other side says it should be fine because its been taken care of and never missed a service would you think this is ok to buy?

I’d avoid any petrol engine car over 130k miles. Other bits start to go wrong like gearbox, drive train, rust etc

Depends what you're after! Driving experience I'd go for an 8P but if you're after speed and a good daily then 8V

I hate much more things about this car (I have one) but many of em can be resolved altho not all things are cheap to resolve but most are. I still love it tho. Many of the things you dislike I love like the sleeper looks, those newer ones are too ''look at me'' imo. Also you dislike the most stupid thing on this car realy it's weird. The dip in the dashboard seriously? All other things you hate are related to it being not different from a normal a3 which isnt true and second things you knew if you have eyes or are you blind, why buy it than?

Still love the car 😂 just parts of it I didn't like, only difference between an A3 diesel and an RS3 are the arches and a bumper. The massive dip was just a huge dust collector. I think you woke up on the wrong side of bed and need to chill. Just my opinion on what I'd change on the car 😂

@@jamesonwatches First of all this aint a grammar test, it's the youtube comment section. Second I speak and write 4 languages, how many do you? Whats that, only one, yeah thought so. Third, I slept well, you're just pointing out stupid things, things visible when you have eyes at least but apparently you don't. The difference with a normal one are the rear bumper, front bumper, arches, head and taillights, mirrors, so basically the whole car almost you stupid. You're a casual knowing nothing about cars and then after goes whining about the most stupid shit. Things he loves is the engine because it sounds good.........yeah it's sounds good but the engine is a piece of shit and if you weren't such a casual you would have known that. The chrome isn't chrome btw it's called the grey pack, it just proves again you realy are blind and a casual. Pls sell the car and buy a fiesta.
