So... any regrets career wise? Seriously, my most important question is whether you got a better job because of this study. And this question can be answered by anyone, anywhere... Did studying in Norway help you find a job? How so? Please explain... I don't want to just study for cheap for 2 years and return to my former employer as if I were on holiday/sabbatical.
@ubaidmalik014 жыл бұрын
Hi, first of all education is free. Secondly, if you study something where you learn some skills like programming, accounting then you will find a job. Studying a useless degree would be like a holiday as you have mentioned
@drewsteps4 жыл бұрын
@@ubaidmalik01 thank you! I should have watched more of your videos. Your other videos answered my question. What's yourhere is my situation: I'm 27 and I've had 3 years of engineering work experience. I received a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering in the U.S., and I just recently paid of $50,000 of student debt, which is insane, so I would like to continue my education without more serious debt. If I wanted to go live in Norway and I couldn't work, how much money should I save for 2 years of study? Typically, an engineering career does not require a Masters in engineering, nor is it recommended if the engineering master's is really expensive. Project engineers don't have masters degrees and one website said it could look bad to have studies instead of working. But I would like to specialize in an area of civil/transport/water/enviro engineering. I would like this master's degree to change my path in my engineering career path, and I believe a specialization would encourage more job opportunities overseas. More academic experience in Europe would make it easier to find work in Europe and other countries overseas. If Norwegian universities offer career fairs, this would be helpful. Do you have any comments or advice? Thanks
