There's a theory that Chris and the production crew purposely let Heather win almost every challenge and that they protect her. Looking back it makes sense because Chris wants views and ratings. So maybe the votes are rigged as well so that way heather doesn't leave. Also with heathers dumb luck to get idols and free invincible passes

Here what I think 1. If they got rid of Trent then it would not be no relationship with Gwen and Trent. Heather does not know about Trent and Gwen relationship yet which is why she did not target him. I think Heather also target Justin because she know he would be a threat with his good looks. This foreshadow Justin being a villain in total drama action so Heather is spot on with her analysis. Also you can tell who voted for Justin based off their reaction with Gwen and Lashawna looking mad at Heather staying. So assuming what happen. Cody look remorseful with the voting like he was hiding something so I assume he did not vote for Heather. Also it seems that Heather is hot to some of the guys so it makes sense that Cody did not vote Heather off. Also even though Heather read Gwen diary it was because of that he knows that Gwen does not like him so he would probably want to eliminated the hot guys to be with Gwen. I think this does make sense because it shows how petty Cody could be when it comes for Gwen attention. Heather = Justin Lindsay = Justin Beth = Justin Izzy = Justin Owen = Justin Gwen = Heather Leshawna = Heather Trent = Heather Justin = Heather Cody = Trent or Justin 2. You are right but I do not think it was accidental. Chris like to make fun of people so it does make sense. Zoey help save Mike and he finds it assuming that Mike got saved by a girl. He probably thought he can make fun of Mike more if Zoey and him are on the same team. I think Chris didn't count Cameron as a threat since he is a bubble boy which is why Zoey is team B instead of team A. Chris probably also think that Cameron would be an early out. I also think if Scott never messed with his team Cameron would of easily got voted out earlier because his lack of physical experiences. The only reason why the Toxic rats loose is because of Scott influence. I would easy say Cameron would of gotten voted out in Ice Ice Baby. 3. Chris is a jerk which like trolling people which is why it makes sense if you think about it. If Chris would be predictable it would not do good with ratings which is why he does what he does. 4. I am glad you mention Hide and Be Sneaky because I did an analysis on this before so let me explain it. Heather = Owen Lindsay = Accidently voted for Bridgete similar to total drama action Owen = bridgete Dj = Bridgete Duncan = Bridgete Izzy = Did not vote for anyone similar to how she vote in total drama action finale. Gwen = Duncan Leshawna = Duncan Bridgete = Duncan Geoff = Vote for someone that is immune so I am guessing Heather. I think the answer to Bridgette's elimination is actually pretty simple. Izzy told Heather she didn't want to vote for Owen and so she didn't and instead voted Bridgette while Geoff voted someone else off instead. Also new What If idea: What if Chris actually stuck to the team picking pattern in ROTI? Zoey and Mike on opposite teams would be interesting.

Yeah, In my opinion, this is how the voting went down: Duncan, DJ, Owen and Izzy vote for Bridgette (which is 4 votes Bridgette) Gwen, Bridgette and Leshawna vote Duncan (which is 3 votes Duncan) Lindsay and Heather vote Owen (which is 2 votes Owen) And Geoff votes Heather, which leaves the number of votes as: Bridgette: 4 Duncan: 3 Owen: 2 Heather: 1

@@kennethanderson9623 Yeah, Izzy said okay, but she's also a known compulsive liar who makes up completely new personalities and fake anecdotes on a whim. I don't think it's that weird for her to have lied to Heather and Lindsay or even just decide to change her vote once she got to the voting booth. In the case of Geoff, he's definitely more of a feeler than a thinker, so I don't think it's that weird for him to do something illogical like voting for Heather just because he liked everyone else left on the island. Although if it really bothers you, Geoff's vote in this equation literally doesn't matter as long as he doesn't vote for Duncan. If Izzy votes for Bridgette she has 4 votes, so no matter who Geoff voted for, it wouldn't make a difference (again, assuming he doesn't vote Duncan).

I think during my second watch was when I realised Heather’s ‘plot armor’ makes sense. During the season they keep bringing up a jury vote and that the eliminated contestants will have a say in who wins. With Heather being so hated it makes perfect sense for people to keep her in.

Speaking of team being selected in weird order: There's Ezekiel in Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 1. He's randomly placed on the first team (Team Victory), even though he arrived at the finish line last with Izzy, who became a member of the third team (Team Amazon). He was also allowed to come back in place of Duncan, who also would've been put on Team Amazon. So either just place him on Team Amazon (a potential for interesting storyline considering his image as a sexist) or just make the first 6 members who reached the finish line members of Team Victory (meaning Alejandro would've been on that team, Cody would've been on Team Chris, and Ezekiel would've correctly been on Team Amazon)

Another thing about Justin's TDI elimination is... Why him? Heather stacked up 5 votes on her side (including hers) and could have manipulated Justin into voting off Gwen or LeShawna who she doesn't get along with or get rid of Cody or Trent since they're Gwens allies but she chooses to get Justin out? For what reason? Justin hasn't been a threat whatsoever or shown himself to be a possible threat later on in the game either so why would she not eliminate people she hates when she has the opportunity to do so and instead votes off the guy that nobody cares about? I know that this is the definition of Heather TDI plot armor but at least make it make sense in any way. I came up with an idea that I think would make Heathers choice to target Justin here make more sense: Have Justin try to talk Lindsay and Beth into an alliance while using his looks to do so, Heather sees this and asks Beth and Lindsay what that was all about and intimidates the two into staying in her alliance and voting off Justin. She can still convince Owen & Izzy like in canon but have it be clear that Heather doesn't trust her own alliance and is afraid that Justin will ruin her plans. To make the votes not end in a tie Heather, Beth and Lindsay would come up to Justin and have them lie about joining his alliance and recommend voting off Gwen- that would cause Justin to throw his vote and the relevant votes would end in a 5-4. Then, Heather's alliance would backstab Justin and vote for him instead. This would also be one of the moments where Beth realizes how awful Heather can be making their fight in Paintball Deer Hunter have more build up to it. Just giving Heather any reason to vote off Justin would make his one so much better. And to make the numbers add up: Heather - Justin Lindsay - Justin Beth - Justin Owen - Justin Izzy - Justin Justin - Gwen Gwen - Heather LeShawna - Heather Cody - Heather Trent - Heather 5-4-1 votes. Justin gets eliminated.

To me, Geoff's elimination is the one that makes absolutely no sense. There are 6 contestants. Leshawna litteraly said that she voted for Heather. At this point, Gwen had no choice but to vote for her too. (And she said that she didn't voted for Heather). Owen was annoyed by Heather during the whole episode, but he voted for Geoff ? Only Duncan said that he voted for Geoff. While assuming that Owen followed Duncan for the same reason, and Heather did the same, it should be a tie. There's no way Geoff could be eliminated here

The only explanation I can think of is that Leshawna's confessional was a mistake and that she actually voted for Geoff because otherwise her confessional about losing in a popularity contest (and the elimination as a whole actually) makes no sense.

I think Geoff actually voted himself off. He says during the episode that he wasn’t having fun and thought a lot of the players left were downers, and missed his friends back home. Even while he’s getting voted off he has nothing but a smile on his face.

I think Izzy voted Bridgette, probably for the same reason the guys did. She’s crazy yeah, but according to bios, she’s also the smartest contestant before Cameron, so I could definitely see her voting Bridgette because she’s likable and athletic, hence a threat. So Bridgette went 4-3-2-1. If not, I think production broke the tie against Bridgette since Duncan was better for ratings, and that’s probably why Heather got to stay over Justin, even if Heather got five votes. If she had went after Trent or Gwen, someone would have been more likely to say no because they felt it would be like kicking them while they were down, whereas Justin didn’t form actual relationships with people beyond shallow attractions.

I'd chalk up the third one to Chris being Chris. He's the host, so he can do whatever he wants with the teams. And also, I think the writers wanted to make sure Zoey and Mike were on the same team. But for as frustrating as it is, and how Chris fucks up the pattern, I wouldn't say it doesn't make sense. I'd just say it's Chris doing whatever he wants.

Some other plot holes that I've noticed: Geoff and Izzy 's eliminations in TDI: I really don't see how Heather didn't get the boot on either episodes Why DJ just didn't easily quit on TDWT? Instead of constantly trying to get himself eliminated he just never did simply quit? Also another thing involving TDWT and DJ, he almost refused to sing Sea Shanty and would get eliminated for it, but Noah just didn't sing it at all and was safe Heather an evil mastermind just threw her idol somewhere everyone could find and take away in TDAS, this is so dumb Even dumber, is Scarlett in TDPi, she's even smarter than Heather and easily got tricked but that stupid robot thing? Why did she even expose herself? She was already in the top 6, she could trick everyone thinking Max wanted to blow the island, get him out and win the race on her own ! In RR the most ridiculous thing was the time penalties; in some episodes there was a team literally rigging the whole challenge and they would get like 20 minutes penalty, but in some other episodes a team would get 3 hours of penalty for not doing a part of all in together! That doesn't make any sense.

a lot of these I agree don't make sense, Geoff's however, was explained. the competitors believed that the finale would end in a jury vote on who the winner would be, and all the competitors (excluding Gwen) believed they would easily lose to Geoff in this voting system, as he is well liked by most of the cast ^^

My theory on why Justin got voted off instead of Heather is that Justin voted for Trent, not wanting any competition in the pretty-boy department. When Trent played that lover boy song on stage as part of the competition, Justin knew he was up against a real ladykiller and needed to send that dreamboat to the loserboat.

What I think happened for the Bridgette boot is Gwen, Leshawna, and Bridgette vote Duncan; Owen and Izzy vote Owen; Heather flips to work with DJ, Owen and Duncan to voted Bridgette; while Geoff wastes his vote on Heather. I assume after Bridgette refusing to work with Heather, Izzy, and Lindsay, Heather went to the boys and asked who they were voting and joined them. This vote would have be so clear had the done a 7 second conversation between Duncan and Heather

One more thing I've noticed in Revenge is Dakota's second elimination. Chris says that everybody voted for Scott, but since he has the immunity idol, the person with the second most votes gets eliminated, that being Dakota with one vote from Zoey. But who did Scott vote for? If all votes but one are for him, where did his vote go?

He wouldn't have any certainty that Zoey would vote for Dakota instead of him, so if he had voted for himself and Zoey had voted for him too, there wouldn't have been any other votes and they'd probably end on a recount. And if everyone, including Zoey, would had voted for Scott while he had the idol, Scott's sole vote could've taken out whoever he wanted gone. It just makes no sense to me.

For Bridgettes eliminatation, I would say it might have been Duncan, Owen, and DJ vote Bridgette Heather and Lindsay vote Owen Gwen and Leshawna vote Duncan Geoff and Izzy randomly vote someone. Maybe Gwen and Heather. It's the only exclamation for Bridgette getting kicked off that works, plus Chris never states how many votes each got, just that they got a bunch, but there are only 10 players left so saying they got a bunch of votes doesn't really make sense. Or Chris just said it for dramatic effect. Either way, I think Bridgette got unfairly voted off.

The elimination that always made the least sense to me in Island was Cody’s. Owen voting for him was kinda fair enough I guess but I never understood Leshawna voting for him after spending the episode teaming up with Beth and shooting Heather with her paintballs. Heather definitely voted for Beth, so realistically the votes for Cody should have probably been Leshawna, Owen and Lindsay (as she probably wouldn’t have voted for Beth with Heather). Which leaves Trent and Gwen’s votes, but in the previous episode Cody was helping them both out by swapping boats and I feel like Gwen’s smart enough to know she’s have Cody’s votes by keeping him in

Most Of them stated in the episode that since Cody was injured pretty badly they had no choice but to vote for him. It does actually make a whole lot of sense. Since they didn't vote for him randomly but both for his sake(although he did say he is a quick healer) and the teams sake(they can't really know how much it will take to heal).

@@The_One-And_Only_Weirdo I’m gonna be honest… I think Cody had the potential to win the season Out of all the players, I think Gwen, Duncan and Leshawna played the best games in TDI. DJ, Geoff and Owen also played well. I think Bridgette and Heather both also did good but didn’t really have the potential to win…(Heather needs lots of plot armour to get far). Trent and Lindsay were average players. Cody, Beth and Justin all had potential to get really far, they were all playing really well until their boot episodes! Them getting out wasn’t realistic either, it was done to spare Heather from being an early boot. I don’t think Courtney had potential to win though since a lot of people got annoyed with her. Her, Harold, Izzy, Tyler, Sadie and Katie all played pretty poorly, and Eva, Ezekiel and Noah… just had no hope playing this season.

Thank you for bringing the Justin elimination thing into light. Really, I've discussed this on comments before, but for many reasons it doesn't make sense. Why didn't Heather try to vote off someone she actually disliked? As someone pointed out on another comment, why not Trent? I feel like this character's handling was so weird, yet few to no one in the Total Drama fandom talks about that, like they talk about Trent or Noah or some other character's handling. It's like they didn't know what to do with him, at first he's competent (did decently in the few challenges he's a part of on TDI), but mute and with no personality, and gets quickly thrown under the bus. Then, from the Special onwards, he does speak and (I guess based on him cheating in the sleeping challenge) he's now devious, and randomly, he's lazy too and wants people to do stuff for him, even though in TDI he was willing to participate in the challenges. It's so weird, no wonder they created a spiritual successor in Alejandro.

About the team pattern on season 4, I think Chris just wants to meddle in the show. He probably decided whom would be best for his amusement in which team. One time he ignore the votes just to keep Duncan a little longer on season 3 so it’s not that out of character.

What people forget about this show is that your watching it through the lens of the Contestants, rather then as a Viewer. What you pointed out, is what Contestants on the show it’s based on, Survivor, figured out. Who people said they were voting for, and who was getting voted off, were often different. Which means there are people who lie about who they vote for. Shows like that show you who the contestants are voting for, and you know whose lying, but like in Total Drama, the contestants don’t. This was always common arch in Survivor, people (mostly women) figuring out that people are lying about this. And every so often, the show would show the contestants who they are all voting for, and they’d get all mad because people they trusted were actually backstabbing them. Total Drama likely didn’t have the budget to explore this arch, as you’d expect teenagers to especially not take shit others are saying literally, and would be more skeptical. It is hard to write a show like that for viewers, and obviously would cost a pretty penny to explore that arch every season like Survivor, but it also means anyone could be the liar. Even Beth and Lindsay. And so on….

When I watched it, I also tought that Brick deserved to go because of his poor performance in both parts and how he tried and failed to lead the Rats, but they made it clear a couple of time that they found Sam to be useless, so it make sense. Also it's the only episode (with the first one) that Scott didnt sabotage his team, probably because he started to feel in a tight corner. He just convinced Brick and Lightning to vote Sam off if they lose

He was the only one who thought to actually ask someone who was an expert in fashion on fashion advice and he only failed because of poor communications. Brick went all in and didn't listen for any advice and he also failed. So he was the best choice as he more so cost him the challenge than Sam did as he was the one who angered the Yeti to that point. @Vincet Huet Like you said, Brick fucked up on both challenges. So while they thought Sam was useless, they just saw him do something not even they could do. And considering how gullible Sam can be, Scott could definitely use him as a way to ride his coat tails
