As to shoes ... here in Canada make sure to wear your winter boots to the party and bring your fancy shoes in a bag. Getting stuck or getting into an accident in the cold weather can be a really bad time if all you have on is small shoes.

Oh yes very true. And where I come from, Denmark, it’s rude to wear shoes in people’s homes so bring slippers lol..

I recently went to a party that a few years ago would be very dressy. I was surprised at how informal everyone was dressed. There were a few "blingie" sweaters but very casual pants. Things are a changing.

Us older ladies... Nicely put, Marleen. I follow Natasha Gibson, a german creator who calls us 'schon länger junge Damen' , which translates roughly as 'ladies who have been young for a while'. Totally agree about the shoes! Simiply cannot do the high heels anymore! For those of us thou that still want that high heel shoe but want comfort as well may want to try a good pair of wedge heels! They provide a lot more support but still look great! Hope that helps someone!❤

I've recently lost 60 lbs and gone down four sizes. I'm having a terrible time finding clothes that I like now and I'm just not comfortable in my old uniform LOL any suggestions. Doing lots and lots of trial and error

Trial and error and pushing your comfort zones. Mrs M vids taught me that. I’m 147 lb down and what I wore to start has so changed. One vid Mrs M said about and I can’t remember which way trying it one 3 times or you can use it 3 ways and now I live by that as the clothes earn a place in my wardrobe. And yes Mrs M has a different body and style and I’m more hippy dippy to her suited and booted but the ideas are great. Just go out and try.
