“Knowledge is power: You hear it all the time, but knowledge is not power. It's only potential power. It only becomes power when we apply it and use it.” - Jim Kwik

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young. - Henry Ford

Completely agree. Now there are many distractions that make it more difficult to achieve anything you set your mind to.

If I may make some comments . Being yourself may not be possible, that depends on where you live. Keeping in touch with friends needs to work both ways, if it you are the only one making the effort than it is time to let go, 2023 was a year where I sadly had to say goodbye to two friendships that I thought was for life. Expressing your feelings it is also not as straightforward, you may really like someone but they may not feel the same way, and having made a fool of myself many times in the past I am definitely not taking that risk again. As for letting yourself be happy this is something I need to do, of course happiness is very subjective too....and at my age I have lived more years than what I have left to live, so I am close to the end , but hopefully I still have a few years left.

If you could REALLY go back and change those first 3 things, then you would be an outcast and broke!
