I liked the rainy season more because the nature was much more lush and green. The rain is like a downpour, so beautiful 😍 We fell in love with Quepos, Costa Rica because of playing soccer in the rain with the local kids.

Hi Emma Thank you for making this video and explaining it. My fiancé and I are going in late sept to early oct for our honeymoon. I was really nervous about it b/c I've heard a lot of bad things about the rainy season, but this puts me at ease. Excited to have a taste of Pura Vida later this year!

Do you recommend a specific tour company to see whales mid July. Have been watching all of your videos. Appreciate all of tips and ideas as we plan our trip. Hard to decide what things to do with limited amount of time.

This will depend on where you'll be staying! Mid July if you go to Uvita to see the whales you can really go with any tour company, this is the beginning of the Whale season and Uvita I can almost guarantee you will get some action! If you hope to stay in Manuel Antonio, most of the catamarans that go out communicate with eachother over radio if one of them finds the whales, but I think if you are very keen to see them, a whale watching tour out of Uvita would be the better bet.

Nice!! My personal favorite is and will always be relaxing on the beach! But also, since it's great time for bugs and wildlife, definitely check out a national park, or if you are coming in late July and will be in the southern pacific area of the country, you can try to see some humpback whales on an excursion!

January and February are peak high season, it will likely be more costly than the end of November!

Do not waste time r money. Why go there if there is Cartagena sunny days year around. Why r u pushing people to go in rainy season? Vacation in rainy days are not vacations. Unpredictable? Do u want us to waste money n time on unpredictable rainy days? Really? I just change my August vacations to Cartagena Colombia half of the price. Stop lying to people KZbinrs. Costa Rica is more expensive than Orlando Florida without the highways and nice streets to drive. Stop your bs pls

"Vacation rainy days are not a Vacation" speak for yourself. Some ppl love the rain, it's why Costa Rica is so beautiful. It's worth it!
