If you want to do MCA in any college in Maharashtra or if you're trying for one of the NIT's, then Maths or Statistics should be one of the subjects in your bachelor's degree. Don't know what are the rules & eligibility for MCA in other states.

It could be possible if u do MCA from tier 1 college like NIT/JNU,BHU etc.. Otherwise you've to do MBA in order to get job in HR field!!

But if you do MCA from tier 1 college like NIT JNU BHU etc, then u will get better exposure nd exponential growth in your career as well and one thing which is very important that their Alumni network is top notch!!!
