Great Word! Here are my notes: Jabin Chavez City light Church 1) Watch (Guard) your soul. You need to be informed but not oversaturated with the news. Be careful of what you watch and read. We're in the last days and have been in the last days since the resurrection. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV 1st Thessalonians 4:13 I grieve with hope Romans 8:28 I don't fear like the world fears and I don't grieve like the world Grieve Romans 8:35 2) wash yourself in the word Ephesians 5:26 Luke 8:18 Be careful how you hear Faith comes by hearing the word of Christ Romans 10:17 3) Pray If you're wondering when you should take prayer to the next level this is probably it. James 5:13 Pray about everything If you think about it pray about it If you're worried about it pray about it If you doubt pray Jeremiah 33:3 Romans 12:12 We're going to need patience to get through this Acts 4:30-31 Pray for yourself, pray over your friends and family, pray for others 4) Anoint with oil A visible representation of the presence of God. It gives us something to connect our faith to. Jesus says to anoint with oil but it doesn't say why. James 5:14 It releases faith in people It consecrates Anoint your doors, your windows, your children It's a picture of the presence of God in the name of Jesus. You declare God's hand of protection is on them, they are strong, they are healed 5) Receive communion daily 1 Corinthians 11 You should always examine yourself before communion. If you don't treat communion as sacred you're going to be judged. The Corinthians were perverting communion by getting drunk and eating too much and not leaving any for others. Communion is supernatural! When I receive communion I'm declaring jesus's life, death and Resurrection Set your mind on the things above and do these things daily!

YES. Anoint with oil. Very powerful! No one preaches on this anymore it seems. As a teacher, I anointed my classroom and each chair w/ oil at the beginning of each school year before the students arrive. My students and my classroom are covered!
