5 THINGS TO KNOW ON TRANSIT FLIGHT THROUGH DUBAI AIRPORT

Yes Emirates flights ✈️✈️ are excellent. We have just availed DUBAI CONNECT facility on 26th July 2024. We were flying from DALLAS, USA to AHMEDABAD, INDIA via DUBAI. We had a layover of around 12 hours. As we are Senior Citizens we have booked wheelchairs for us. So our airport transfer was quite easy and comfortable. We have got our Dubai transit visa online free and it was done by Emirates. Hotel 🏨 and room as well as food was quite good. We have been given a 1 GB sim card during our immigration but not working well. We have booked a 2 hour Dubai tour from a hotel tour desk by paying 35 US $ per person. In short our Dubai transit layover was 👍 nice.

Thank you for your love and kind words🥰 you don’t have to pre- book the buggies, they are Parked within the terminal at short distances wherever you see them Parked with a drive in them, tell them to drop you to your terminal or elevators and they will ( without charge )

Hello, depends whether your existing the airport or not. If you’re not exiting the airport, you don’t need a passport check at immigration and can go straight to your flight gate. Hope this helps :)

If your layover at Dubai Airport is more than 8 hours you can get Dubai Connect facility even though you are traveling by economy class of Emirates airlines. We have availed DUBAI CONNECT as our layover was for 12 hours.

Hello, typically you do require a visa to go out in the city. If you have a passport that allows visa on arrival, you’ll be given the visa on the spot at the airport. So check whether your country is allowed for visa on arrival, otherwise you’ll have to apply for visa beforehand

@@AjumohanCP the emirates hotel is located outside the airport. It is part of the emirates airline’s dubai connect service. The airline books it for you complementary if your layover is between 8-26 hours and there is no emirates flight available with a lesser layover at the time you’re booking your flight. You can call emirates to see if you are Eligible for free stay at emirates hotel. Hope this helps :)

Hello,Typically if you’re staying in the airport and not going outside you will not require a transit visa. However if you’re planning to leave the airport, you will require a transit visa. If you’re going to have a stopover in the UAE on your way to a third destination, you may need to apply for a UAE Transit Visa, depending on your nationality. If you have a Pakistani passport you will need the transit visa. But I would suggest you also double check with your airline

Hello, yes there are paid lounges for Emirates. There is also paid Plaza Premium Dubai lounge at the airport. Although I have not tried these lounges. Also, if you don’t want to pay anything then at each gate they have seats that allow you to recline and put up your feet, so a lot of people use those to rest as well.. hope this was helpful and hope you have a safe flight :)

Yes. A Dubai transit visa is necessary if you want to enter Dubai. If you stay at Airport no visa required. When we were going to the USA via DUBAI from India we were stuck for 30 hours at Dubai Airport due to heavy rain ☔☔🌧️ in Dubai. We were compelled to stay at the airport without any facility as so many flights were cancelled. But while returning from the USA to India we have been provided a Dubai Connect facility by Emirates airlines. They have arranged for our online Visa of Dubai, stay at a good Hotel, lunch and dinner free of cost as our layover was for almost 12 hours at Dubai.
