well your mom was a different story because she has the rights to do that because she brought you on earth haha in tvxq's case, they chose Yunho as leader so he has every rights to tell them if they did right or wrong. it's his job although he strongly said during one of his interviews that he did not enjoy scolding his teammates, he has to do it sometime to ensure their success and look where they are now ^^
