I use to do most of these things on your list except the cute ankle bracelets. I never really wore a full face of makeup but I wore eyeshadow often. I received alot of compliments about my eyes. I always wear different scents, everyday. There will be days when I wear a scent, my grown children, will tell me they remember when I would only wear that scent when I was going somewhere. I used to wear the makeup, anklet, charm bracelets an things. As I gotten older I stopped. Red has always been my favorite color and my signature color. Red is also the color of passion, fire, strong activity. I would say find what color your man likes and add it into your wardrobe if you can. I know that some colors may not look good on your skin tone, but if you can find a way to do it. Then I highly suggest it. I was told wearing red at a wedding is letting everyone know that you slept with the groom.

Sorry to disagree with you about ankle bracelets and eyeliner. I am 70 and were both on days that I want to look extra nice. The trick with eyeliner is to first consult professionals. I go to my local department stores (Chanel or Dior) and ask for help. I don’t buy their full product lines, but an eyeliner pencil is not too expensive if you factor in the great advice they give……..plus you will look great as you stroll out the store with your new look. Just make sure to communicate the level of “natural” that is comfortable for you.

Though I agree with you on anklets, they are not always in fashion because few women have slender ankles or exquisitely chiseled feet !... And toes!
