I agree with your expertise! The factor branding is for me a bit more important. In my world I encounter some experience with Brands in case of support structure and “what if the system have a failer”. So I prefers the company with the beste support for me. Thank you for your videos! I am from Germany so I am to fare away to buy from you. But otherwise every click is important and comments also. Sorry for my English. It’s not my native language!

Bob, thanks for the video. I have 4 panasonic toughbooks (3 were purchased from you). I own a CF-31mk 1 (purchased new 13 years ago), a CF-19mk6, a CF-52, and a FZ-G1. All still work great. Unfortunately, none can be upgraded to Windows 11. That is really disappointing. So, i will begin the upgrade process over the next two years and will be purchasing from your company. Truth be told, i absolutely DO NOT need a rugged computer. However, i believe the inherent quality that is required for a rugged computer ensures a trouble free experience for the normal user for many, many years. That has been my experience. They just work. The CF-31 initially came with Windows 7. Your company upgraded it to Windows 10 a few years ago. This has been one of the best investments i have ever made. I spent over $4k for it but have zero regrets. I will miss it dearly. I wish you would have talked about the inability of some refurbished computers to be upgraded to Windows 11. Thanks again.

Thanks for the compliment and the business! Everyone has a preference, no judgement here! And you're absolutely right, the Windows 11 compatibility with older laptops sucks. We have a video planed about explaining why older computers cannot run Windows 11. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching!

There may be plenty of parts out there for the FZ-55 but I sure can't figure out where from. Upgrade to 64 gigs of RAM ? You got me. Faster processor? Who knows?
@Bobjohnson3 ай бұрын
Panasonic Connect is a good place to start. Upgrading the RAM is as simple as adding a stick or two. Processor on the other hand is not upgradable. If you want a model with a faster processor, we advise to upgrade to a newer MK of FZ-55. If you have anymore questions about where to get parts, fill out our tech support form. Here is the link: www.bobjohnson.com/tech-support-form/ Thanks for Watching.

Dang these are expensive and parts as well, replacement battery for a 54 200 bucks plus? Glad i kept one from work as they were being sent off to the recyclers.

That's because that is the biggest problem with the CF-54s. They are still great units!

Is there a rugged laptop that has good graphic quality?
