Fun fact: in Victoria, due to safety, it's not a law (unless it's since changed) that a cyclist must signal to turn left. While most of us probably find it very easy to ride one-handed in almost any situation, some people find it tricky to brake and signal at high speed, just prior to, or when they are, turning. Let's not forget that there are plenty of experienced "civilian" cyclists (😃👍) who might be riding crappy bikes
