Have Connor die by falling when chasing Rupert (in the Nest chapter), then during Public Enemy, go to the roof and have Connor look over the railing. He'll reel backwards, almost in fear of falling again. And he only ever does this if you've died by falling before.

I don't know if this is a small details but I found it adorable. When cleaning Todd's house your given the option to turn on a roomba, and if Alice is downstairs (I can't remember if she stay downstairs with you as you clean) she'll start playing with the roomba by blocking it's path jumping side to side. But eventually Todd will tell her to knock it off.

Alice’s identity might be given in a much more subtle clue too. When you’re crossing the road to escape Connor, you’d have thought the self-driving cars would have a function to stop in case of someone on the road? Especially a child! But because the cars can detect there’s only androids in its path, and slowing down could be perilous to the passengers (presumably humans) then its priority programming wouldn’t brake or swerve for the safety of a human over the “life” of an Android

It wouldn't matter if it was human or android. Use your brain: They were in HIGH SPEED TRAFFIC. You think even self driving cars travelling at those extreme high speeds can stop and brake in time to stop even if a human crossed the road?? It wouldn't. Even if it braked, it wouldn't stop completely and momentum would still force the car along and maintain it's speed and velocity for a good amount of distance. Those cars are travelling way too fast to be able to safely stop for someone who suddenly crossed their path. They would not have been able to stop and avoid hitting alice even if it wanted to. The fact that alice was on the highway with kara and the cars didn't stop for her was NOT a clue about her identity.

When you first meet Ralph in the "squat" and chose the dialogue option "Little Girl" Ralph replies, "Little girl? She's not a little girl." That's one of your first (of MANY not-subtle) clues that Alice is not human. He seems to forget that, though, since he tries to make her EAT that SUCCULENT roadkill he cooked for her the next morning. lol

I did notice That the girl in the picture was not Alice, and I did notice Alice never tries to take a bite from any food you serve her in Tods house. I also noticed she had surprisingly few bruises for being hit, and even when Todd hit her she didn’t bruise or bleed, even though the hit looked pretty hard. I also noticed how Alice was not mentioned in the crime report when Connor read it, only that she killed Todd and run. So no one knew about Alice living with Todd. Despite all this, the „I am cold“ always fooled me into thinking she was in fact a human and she was maybe kidnapped or sth. When Luther asked you if you noticed something bout Alice I started to suspect it, I saw a lot where Ralph tells you to „save her from the humans“ but ultimately I was only sure she was an Android when she said she didn’t want to eat the spaghetti and Kara said „you did not eat anything since we left“. It has been MONTHS

I have another one, When playing as Connor at the police station (waiting for hank) you can read a book that talks about child androids and how they function. It states how their LED is removable and other things. I just thought it was cool how it kind of foreshadowed how alive could be an android.

Actually Alice’s LED was most likely turned off rather than Todd ripping it out. In the lore, the child model can turn off their LED to help create the illusion that they’re a human child instead of a android.

It's probably because they assumed it turned brown when she grew older. Kids that were born with blonde hair start to grow brown hair as they age. Since Alice is still young, I thought it was a bit of a stretch for it to have brown that fast however.

I did assume that it was a picture of Alice as a toddler and that her hair darkened as she got older. I was a blonde toddler, but my hair was very dark, almost black by the time I was 5, so it made sense to me.

*SPOILERS FROM THE LAST FACT AND AN IN-GAME PLOT TWIST* Actually I think Alice’s “blood” in her drawing is suppose to be her LED. Androids’ LEDs turn red when they’re stressed. It was probably red most of the time so I imagine Todd got sick of it and forced her to remove it.

If this were true, when Kara finally notices Alice in Jericho, she sees her LED. Good theory though. Also I think the colors go as followed: Blue is calm and neutral. Yellow is scanning or analyzing. Red is under attack. This is what I think and I am most likely wrong.

Actually I know I wrong but now I think I got it: Blue is normal, when it blinks and goes to blue/white it is scanning, analyzing, and sending feed back (Connor). Yellow is signs of Deviancy and red is stressed or in danger.

Another little detail is most of the androids you first met at Jericho are victims of Gavin's abuse as they are service droids you seen copies of from the Police Department Connor visits. He (Gavin) gets off on turning Androids into deviants and driving them off, as you notice he's been aching to have Connor give him a human response so he can do the same to him.

Which makes it even more of a morbid detail because that means he experiments on the androids so often his hands are stained and he doesnt go for more than a few hours without operating on an adroid

One thing that always bugged me was that despite this game being so heavily based on choice, you cant choose whether to "take the risk" with the supposed tracking device,and just have the same events that take place after rescuing alice, or to go through with it. Sort of ruins the section if you can guess what happens

SOMETHING YOU DIDNT NOTICE!!! when at roses house, the android (mary) shuts down in the other androids arms. his led is red, but if you let alice stay, she walks over to him, and his led is yellow and it blinks. when sending a message in your mind, for example markus in the beginning paying for the paints for carl, or connor telling the android at the desk his authorization, the androids led is yellow and it blinks. so that is a really big hint that alice is an android. bc she sends a mental message to another. and kara look rlly shocked after she sees that.

I had already suspected by that point that she might be an android and when he said that I thought he might have meant she was an android, but also though he just might be speaking derogatorily. But then later he says something along the lines of, "Luther I'll be done here in about 10 minutes. Bring me the little girl then and I'll work on it." Not a direct quote, but he says something like that.

Pretty sure it's only Connor that can see the blue blood (since that's part of his job, the other androids don't have any purpose to have the feature of seeing evaporated blue blood [which is why the blue blood on Zlatko's hands is so faint])

But why would he have his blue blood vision on? Doesn't he need to activate it like in that first case with hank? Does he have it on all the time now? And he could see that in scan mode before, not in regular vision! Was it a choice on the developers part to make the scene more gore-y with all the biocomponent transfers? I think I would have preferred if the androids got more splattered with blood the more you tampered with their biocomponents. (That sentence makes me sound like a psycho, but we're discussing the evaporation time of blood so...)

There are honestly lots and lots of little lore errors through the game. The blood thing is one of them. Another is why wouldn't Hank know what thirium is? Its a major component of red ice something he's Very familiar with due to his time in the Red Ice Task force. Why are the several instances where LED removal seems messy and painful (ie Alice and the Nest) where its clear when the main character do it, it just pops off. There more major plots holes and stuff. Its a fun game, it really doesn't hold up under close inspection though...

Hank just asked if Connor can see it but not all Androids in a whole. I think just Connor is able to see it and Kara and Alice can't because Kara was made to be a housemaid and Alice to be a child. Connor was supposed to see it because he is a dedective Android. On the other hand why would the game designers add the blue blood to Zladgos hands in the first place? Just for the player? I dunno... What I know is that I like the Zlatgo Chapter less and less now. It was a too obvoius trap and everyone who played Heavy Rain remebers the Psychodoc.

5:19 it’s the same when looking for a place to spend the night with Alice. If you choose to spend the night in the house with Ralph Kara says “but she’s just a little girl.” Ralph replies with “little girl? She’s not a little girl”. Kara often joins her hand as if she was playing with he nails if she isn't grabbing Alice's hand, but gets her memory wiped out you can see how she puts her hands together in her back, like politely waiting for orders, just like how she made it before she was a deviant. And Connor does the coin trick seldom if he has a low software instability.

5:00 another really depressing thing about Alice and her identity, but one of the ways you can end Kara’s story on that chapter is if you let Zlatko corrupt Kara’s memory and then fail to have her recover it, it will eventually end with Kara fully resetting and becoming Zlatko’s little servant and in the ending cutscene Kara is bringing Zlatko a tray of food while he’s experimenting on an deactivated android on a table...a SMALL android. There’s no way to confirm this is Alice because you never get a clear shot of the android depicting anything other than its size, but how many small child-sized androids do we know in Detroit: Become Human? And you never see any other child androids in his house.

It took until my 5th playthrough to notice the drawing in Alice's lockbox depicted a different kid. I always focused more on the mother. It's definitely one of those hindsight moments.. it's only when you know Alice's nature you look more deeply at these little details and put it together. I always thought Zlatko was just disdainful of kids my first playthrough.

Another thing to notice is that in Alice's drawings she's wearing a green sweater, and when you find the other YK500 at the end she is also wearing a green sweater. Perhaps that's the original outfit they come in, and Alice has changed clothes at some point.

How in the fuck did they not realise Kara is an Android if they used to own the SAME MODEL? +Golden Galaxy Ghost besides literally blind people everyone has the innate ability to recognise faces. So we have to assume they knew Kara was an android and didnt give a shit because even completely unconsiously they would still recognise her. but it wouldnt be unconsious because they literally owned an android who looks exactly the same as her. You would have to be blind or severely mentally disabled not to recognise the face of somebody you lived with a couple of weeks ago whether you consider them human or not. I'd recognise my dog in a crowd of other animals and shes not a human. Also Kara wasn't his daughter and neither was Alice - who is also indistinguishable from any other android of her model besides her clothing (which is probably how he recognised her and put 2 and 2 together with Kara since he recognised her damn face as an AX400 just like his android who stole his other android who appears to be with her) . Tl;dr the human mind remembers faces way better than you're giving it credit for. There is not a chance that they wouldnt recognise her. They last saw their AX400 far too recently to have forgotten her and they are obviously neither blind nor severely mentally disabled.

The worst thing is, I am not fond of children. I tend to call them "it" when they annoy me. Call me scum if you want. I don't hurt them. I just never intend to be a parent. But because of my own habits, I didn't really think anything of him calling Alice "it" during that scene. I just thought he hated children too. FAR more than I do, but still, it didn't seem off. That's my point XDD I also want to point out one thing about the photo in the locked box in Alice's room: I also looked NOTHING like my 3-5 year old self by the time I was 9-10. I was born with blonde hair, had red hair from the time I was 2 until I was around 5, and ended up with a light brown(kind of like Kara's default, but slightly lighter). I was also born with curly hair that straightened as I grew. It was entirely straight by the time I was 6. So, again, that was not something that I noticed. I mean, I did, but I didn't take it into account.

Well, it would be a much better detail with the blood in her drawing, if Alice didn't use blue at all in those drawings. That would imply her not having a blue crayon and using the next best color to describe her injury. That would clear up why she used red instead of blue, except for plot convenience. (It would also be cool if you could find that blue crayon somewhere, like in the backyard or maybe in Todds room to elude more to that she is scared of him so she doesn't come to get it)

I have a theory(that I wrote before). There's a drug called "red ice" that has been mentioned several times throughout the game. One of its ingredients is thirium, which is the android's blue blood. Could they been using them as a source of ingredient?

One thing I find really cool about this game is that Markus’s owner is played Lance Hendriksen. Who’s pretty well known for his role as both the Bisshop Androids in the Alien movies and games, but also as the CEO of the evil Weyland Corporation who makes the Androids and its said in the thir movie that he made the Androids in his image as himself. It has not much to do with the game, but I was just really happy when I saw him in this game knowing that he played an Android in the past.

When you clean up the house as Kara, there is this moment when you find some kind of magazine in Todd's room that is barely shown. If you look at video footage and freeze the frame you see the cover at you notice it is actually a magazine talking about the Alice android.

Also during the zlatko chapter is when kara is wearing human clothes and zlatko answers the door he initially does not want to "help" kara until he sees alice and probably recognized her as the YK500 model and promptly changed to more welcoming demeanor. while i do believe it was a little unnecessary little details and foreshadowing like that i believe justifies alice being an android.

The number one thing for me regarding Alice was right in the beginning of the game. The child that Daniel held hostage was the same model as Alice. In-fact, when I saw Alice my first reaction was "Isn't that the girl I just rescued?" Then, it just becomes more and more obvious. By the time Luther starts dropping hints, I already knew Alice wasn't human.

There is also a tiny hint at the beginning chapters that indicate that Alice is and android. When Connor and Hank have that awkward lunch break, if you haven't crossed the highway while chasing Alice and Kara and select the option to speak and nd bout the highway, Connor will say "deviants" which hints that Alice is an android. ❤ love these videos.

Around the begining of the game, you can find a magazine talking about children androids. It specifies that children models can have their LED removed, so I don't think Alice would have taken this as a wound when Todd removed hers. I can't explain why she drew herself with red blood though...

Another interesting reference in Detroit: Become Human was the coin-flipping trick Connor performs at the beginning of the game as well as in the Rupert investigation scene if the player is on terms with Hank. You see, in the movie Robocop (2014), the protagonist's son is shown coin-flipping a quarter at home. The relation between the movie Robocop and the game Detroit is quite obvious, such as both take place in Detroit. Also, both works depict robots and cybernetics as dominant in the city, which ultimately leads to trouble for everyone.

i know this is 3 years later but they give hints that alice is an android super early in the game, Like i mean right after you escape from Todd early. If you meet ralph by staying in the abandoned house after you escape on the bus after running away from Todd. When you first meet ralph if you choose the option as kara to tell ralph alice is just a little girl. Ralph gets super confused and says "Little girl?..". Only the 3rd or 4th chapter in the game and I already had a feeling because of that haha

Another thing that makes you know Alice is an Android is when they’re in Rose’s house and she’s laying down and she’s asking why humans don’t like androids but she’s saying “why don’t they like us” because she’s also an Android.
