Totaly agree. A video series about counters would be awesome especially about unit counters and not just strategie counters since the passives of some of the units is what makes or brakes games. A series where a specific strategy is played with a restrictive pool and going into what is being picked / banned and for what reason would be super helpful too! It feels super difficult getting into rta without knowing what most of the characters are doing.

This is a great insight. I also watched your video regarding 1st pick advantage and it helped a lot. Something I really struggle with is knowing what actually counters what. I get the theory, like you want to pick cleansers when there are many debuffers or you want to pick bulky units when the opponent drafts heavy squishy dps. Aside from watching game play and reading unit skills, or being spoon fed that LHC counters ML Landy, sometimes I just don't get if I'm picking the right units. I can't seem to determine if I'm winning or losing due to wrong picks or gear gap. There are a lot of variables for me to consider. I guess the TLDR question is, how do I go about determining x unit counters y unit?

It's hard but a lot of it is understanding what is stong versus characters, a simple on is that adin is weak to anti dodge or attacks that do large damage without critting and not needing to hit. I may make a video about it

This is a big help. I jumped straight into rta once I hit lvl 60 and had no idea what I was doing. Still learning now on my throwaway account tbh lol watching others fight helps too

Very helpful. Is there anywhere you can learn about how to build these units? For example I got Aol angelica but it seems like she is a hard character to build without a lot of speed gear.

@Jenazadp Can you explain how CR push works with multiple CR pushes. I was cleaving an Adin in GW. I had Ran, ML Elena, and Eda. After Ran S2 / S3 my other 2 dps were at 100% cr. Adin was at 85%. My ML Elena S3's and Adin CR pushes to 100% cr then takes the turn before my Eda. My Eda was at 100% cr before Adin, but she got the turn.

What's adin cr push? Is it 15% or 20%? If it's 20, she pushed past 100 thus taking the turn

​@@miltakis12That's exactly what he meant by skill issues though. Neither have the skill to know how or refuse to get the know how, the videos are in many stages and you don't need to match the days, just match the type of process.

To the people saying rta is "whalefest" and not for beginners, go watch deity guide. HUNDREDS of people got masters on beginner f2p accounts following his guide, one got it in literally 20 days account. Stop complaining and put effort into your account, big skill issue.

Standard doesn't exist it's picking OP individual strength units and throwing them at a wall hoping it sticks. It's a brain off, no strategy. Also gear will matter regardless of how you are playing, in most cases your rating will be tied directly to your gear. There's obviously counter play that can boost or detract from your climb if you don't understand it, but the biggest factor is tied directly to your gear. Also speed tuning is HUGE, you need to know how your units function and when they should take their turns in regard to your other units.
