These 5 tips are perfect to get started collecting. I have used them over the years collecting other lines. I've known about Legions for a while but just started collecting recently. I've learned a lot from your videos, and have gotten in on the last few pre-orders. And just joined the Cabal yesterday, and wow! I haven't gone through a lot of it yet, but what I've seen so far, especially the customs, incredible!

Got my first Mythic Legions Malephar figure the other day, certainly impressed and will most definitely pick up more. Waiting for my local shop to get in the Illythia wave, plan on buying the entire set. So happy to be apart of this world now, feels like I've wasted the last 7 years sleeping on this amazing line.

Welcome aboard the Legions train! I always say that people who sleep on the line because they didn't get in on Day 1 are missing out on SO MUCH good new stuff! Yeah, there is the desire to "collect them all", which is really hard on any line that has been around for 7 years, but Legions is just getting started. There really is so much to look forward to that even getting in NOW is a great time to do so!

Recently got into the line through the in stock sales which are great. As a long time action figure collector looks like my experience caused me to do all your 5 points without seeing this video beforehand so I definitely agree that what you mentioned is the way to go. I'm glad that I'm not a collectionist though cause that would really hurt the wallet coming in late. I am very specific about the pieces I collect so the very first thing I did was go through the entire checklist and write down only the ones I want. Also I think this line requires alot of patience which is good for me because it gives me time to thoroughly enjoy the pieces I do have which in my mind makes me feel I get my money's worth by taking it slow.

A bunch of great tips, thanks for making this video. It's videos like this that really helped me when I was thinking about getting into the line. You really don't appreciate how nice these figures are until you get one in hand and when you do you are going to want them all. I think being patient is the most important rule, and get in on the pre-orders. It's great to be excited, but I think it is important not to go for the high priced figures on the secondary market, and instead wait and save your money for the pre-orders. Each pre-order I keep spending more and buying duplicate figures for eventual customs. The in-stock sales are great, but a lot of competition when supplies are low so it's best to look at them as a bonus, don't count on getting what you want, but you may get something great and if you don't there will always be another in-stock sale and another pre-order. Takes a while for them to come in, but when they do it's pretty fun. The prices on BBTS might seem high compared to pre-order prices and in-stock sales but I had a minor issue with a Cowarros figure, It came with two right Pauldron and one of the shields snapped the first time I tried to clip it to his Arm. I explained the issue to BBTS and they gave me a full refund so that I could buy a second Cowarros figure. Now I have an extra to Customize. :) So thanks again making these videos every week and educating new people to the line.

Great topics you went through in the video. Especially the "where should I start/I will never get them all" topic was a huge holdback for me. I decided to just start with those figures I liked and I was able to pre-order now and ignore the ones before. I‘m pretty sure there are lots of awesome new figures coming out in the next years.

Absolutely! There is SO much great stuff in the line that is somewhat easily available - no need to skip the entire line because you may not be able to acquire some of those oldest releases (yet)!

I did that at first I didn't understand the 2nd market prices. You don't have to go way back on the line, just move forward. what I did was hand pick which characters I get from previous waves.

Thank you for the tips ! I am very interested in collecting Mythic Legions. They are quite expensive, but the sculpt, paint apps are superb. The way that body parts and armor can be changed between figures is ingenious. The Four Horsemen make kitbashing figures easy. I am going to start buying from retailers like Big Bad Toy Store. I am also looking forward to the Cosmic Legions. In reference to Cosmic Legions customs, I have been looking into some other action figures, from other companies, that can be used for customs using different types of body molds. When it comes to sculpting and paint apps, Neca is one of the top USA companies, and I noticed that in my honest opinion, The Defenders of the Earth's figures have some nice body molds. They all used the same body mold, but Ming the Merciless has some interesting parts. Marvel Legends has some other figures that could be used for customs. I think that the new Hercules body mold could be a good option for customs, specially for gladiators and Orcs. Then, you also have the Omega Red body mold. Also, you have the taller muscular body from the new AOA Sabretooth. Some customizers have also used the Namor body mold. I have also seen wonderful customs using the Masters of The Universe Classics body mold. Another option could be The Masters of The Universe Classics Revelation figures. I believe that the Marvel Select Immortal Hulk could be a good base body mold for the huge Trolls. All of these body molds, with the exception of most of the MOTU figures, are cheaper, but they would need armor from Mythic Legions, specially the Shoulder armors, and some other Mythic Legion pieces as well as customs headsculpts, and better painting apps.

Thanks for your comment! The parts from Mythics, including the armor, would not easily fit those other bodies the way they do Mythics. Personally, I have never liked using base bodies from other lines alongside my Mythics because I feel like the proportions and build system is really what makes these figures work well together. You can definitely find cheaper body fodder in line like Marvel Legends and such, but once you get Legions in hand, I think you will agree that they are not expensive, but are actually a really great value at the price point!

Cool. Just a bit late, l got about 7 figures in the last few weeks. Like Hadrianne mostly as the Knights of Wundergore for the High Evolutionary. One thing most 🇺🇸 based collectors forget is there is a fan base outside the US. To order direct from the US is an extra $50 shipping for 2 regular figures. Although it's not too hard to find mostly what you want right here in London. Now time to track down those Gladiators.

Sorry to hear that. Normally someone who doesn't get approved is because they did not answer the simple entry questions. Try again and make sure to say you saw the info on one of Jeremy's videos and be sure to answer the few questions and you should be able to get in fine.

Hey mate, amazing tips. I am from India and we have a good set of folks who would love to collect the Mythic Legions figures. However, the only option currently is to import from US, which burns the wallet due to customs and stuff. For instance, if we buy a figure worth $35, we end up paying $70-$80 including shipping and customs. Would you please bring this to the attention of Four Horsemen and request them to make the figures available in retail here in India as well? Thanks!

Having Legions is not a requirement to get in, so if you answered the questions you should have gotten in. Try again and tell them that Jeremy sent you and asked you to join!

You can always preorder at StoreHorsemen.com! That is the least expensive way to generally get the figures. If you have a local shop you think may be interested, you can also send them our way. LOTS of new retailers come in thanks to custom suggestions.

Feel free to laugh but the only reason I bought into this ML line was because of the Ragna Stormforger figure. Don't really care for the lore of ML just want some decent figs of my favorite fantasy races. AFAIK this line is the only one that makes female Dwarf figures. Plan to get a female Elf next. Now if only they'd do Halflings.
