I have floaters in both eyes. Night driving is difficult. Because of this I avoid night driving.

Dr. Thanks. My opinion drive safe at night. Driving since 1978, never had any accident at night. Travelled Europe, Middle east, Asia and USA. 1980 i learned not to drive fast at night, stop at crossings, keep your windscreen very clean, never wear dark glasses at night, check your car breaks, adjust head lights according to darkness, clear vision at least 15 feet. Thanks

So, if i am a taxi driver and usually on a night shift, which lens technology should i choose? Cause very popular in Russia US Younger Optics and Japanese Hoya with polarized Drivewear - are forbidden at night. Just started XTRActive Polirized, but still no reviews about using it at night time. Common XTRActivie performed better sun protection in a car, but GEN8 faster and clear at home.. So what is a good decision for driver after a half day working on my computer - one lens, one glasses , any time, -4.5D? Thanks!

Hi. Do you recommend any specific night time anti reflection coatings such as Crizal Drive to your patients?
@EyeSchoolwithDrD3 жыл бұрын
We don’t actually have access to this AR in the US. I’m not sure if it’s the same as one of our Crizal options by a different name? But yes I do recommend Crizal products. They hold up and perform well and have a great warranty!

I got blue lens glasses that reflect light. It took me years to find the perfect eye doctor. I even had one that said to blink and it will make it better. He was wrong. I finally found one in my home town i grew up in. My eye doctor made sure that I got the best prescription possible since my vision was so bad. I wore glasses for years that strained my eyes and he help me find the perfect glasses for my vision. I think if it was not for him I probably would have had cataracts
