Great tips! I just had my surgery March 15 (subtotal colectomy with ileostomy. Keeping it permanently but have decided no "barbie butt" surgery in the works for me for a very long time. Just a personal decision due to bad healing) I definitely needed these! The IBD/ostomy community part on Instagram has been invaluable to me! I love your vids so far! My hubby is getting a temp ileostomy. He is a bigger guy, and I am trying to figure out what pants or shorts work best right after surgery. I assume no elastic waists.. thoughts? Thank you so much for your video.

No question loose fitting pants will be more comfortable to start but he should be able to wear whatever he wants eventually. I hope everything went well and your husband is on the road to recovery!
