@@Kossagubben the (Warlords) in that game have bonuses to them that make each deck feel unique in some way, and reward advantageous styles accordingly, one doesn't need to have an attacking warlord or boss card to make a game feel unique, HH Legions is set in a universe that most of us are much more emersed in, THAT, for me, makes all the difference.

Swarms are too effective in general. I get absolutely annihilated consistently by players who have decks spamming 4-5 troops that deal 2 damage per turn. I can put 2 troops on the field, next turn they're gone before I can react. Frontline doesn't help, bunkers dont help. The enemy tactics just going straight for my only card on the field consistently per turn is also annoying. It seems that everyone I face has just been: Throw out like 6 of every troop and laugh because nothing the opponent can do carries on past one turn. Now, me playing salamanders I can someone negate this with survivor, but then they just tactic me to death so my ability means absolutely nothing, consistently. Imperial army is the ONLY way to play effectively if you want to keep cards on the field longer than one turn. Bunkers and frontline troops don't matter, the enemy is just gonna hit you with a frag grenade, krak grenade, and orbital bombardment to wipe your side of the field. Happens to me every single game. Some matches are fun, but unless you start with some sort of upper hand in turn 1-2, you will lose consistently regardless of your tactics.

Also. I have like six total cards that are strength 6+ and I will constantly have a hand absolutely riddled with those cards while 3/4 of my fucking deck is power 1-3. Reminds me of my MTG days. I could have the perfect hand except I wouldn't have any lands. then I'd mulligan, and have all lands and no creatures. My friend was absolutely baffled since he built me the damn deck and he was a consistent tournament player. Glad to see my luck with card games carries over.

@@sephidude123 yeah spam seems a good strategy. However quite a few tactics cards can help spread damage over many weak enemies, clearing the field. Given the limited card draw that can win you the game if you play those cards right.

Tips are great for people that really don't have any experience in TCGs, I was kinda hoping for an inside line on say some really power house cards to look out for early, or cards that age really well that will be worth spending resources on upgrading things like this. If you need to come to a youtube channel to learn to Play a card that gets bonuses for playing other cards after said cards, you need more help than a 3 1/2 minute video is going to give you IMO.

These are good tips but how the five flying fucks am I supposed to do against enemies who constantly heal or give them things that resurrect them when they die

A noob eh? I sure am. There prolly is something you could do, it's just that maybe you haven't got "the perfect counter medicine" cards yet? Seems like there's quite a lot of variety in the game -from what I can tell after just a couple of hours. My nick is Titus of White Planes, if you'd be interested in practice battles. It is not. Buying coins to get crates is a terrible deal. If you want to pay cash for your way to victory you'll have to buy event tickets and fight with sealed decks for good loot.
