Very nice tips! I’ve played this Étude for quite some time now but I think there’s still a lot of room for improvement, especially using tip #3 on how to practice the difficult parts of the left hand. I’ll probably stick to my old fingerings though since I’m just so used to it and it has served me well.

I know from experience that it's hard to change fingerings that are ingrained. If they work, use them!

I’ve been learning this for the past couple of weeks and this video highlighted parts I haven’t seen in any other KZbin video. The demonstration of lifting after the C octave in Tip #2 is absolutely brilliant! It totally changes how I perceive that measure!!

There's a drama to a lift that adds to the Polish character of the music. I always watch for those important lifts at the rests. It does indeed make a difference.
